killed.
Sally the housekeeper: I was hanging the laundry.
John the cook: I was taking a stroll.

Two tough questions....

Question 1:

If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8
kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind,
one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis,
would you recommend that she have an abortion?

Read the next question before looking at the answer for this
one.

Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and only
your vote counts. Here are the facts about the three leading
candidates.

Candidate A -

Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with
astrologists. He's had two Mistresses. He also chain
smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B -

He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium
in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C -

He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke,
drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

Which of these candidates would be your choice?

Something that's topical (i hope you all haven't heard this one already...)

Because he heard boys' underwear was half off.

----------------------

How hot was it in Los Angeles today?

Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Candidate B is Winston Churchill.

Candidate C is Adolph Hitler.

And, by the way, the answer to the abortion question:
If you said yes, you just killed Beethoven, it's his mother.

Pretty interesting isn't it? Makes a person think
before judging someone. Never be afraid to try something new.

Remember:

Amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.

Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more
than 500 employees and has the following statistics:

* 29 have been accused of spousal abuse

* 7 have been arrested for fraud

* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks

* 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at
least 2 businesses

* 3 have done time for assault

* 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

* 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges!

* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting

* 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

* 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the
last year

Can you guess which organization this is?

Give up yet?

It's the 535 members of the United States Congress. The
same group of idiots that crank out hundreds of new
laws each year designed to keep the rest of us
in line.

Ethical Dilemma

You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night, when you
pass
by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could
only be
one passenger in your car?

Think about this....... answer to follow
29 Nov 2003, 02:57 #176
i'll let the person who saved me to drive my car to bring the old lady to the hospital. i'll wait with my dream lover at the bus stop.

Michi, have you heard this before??? Or are you just "pure" like that??!!!
Superb! I thought no one would get it right off the bat. Here is the explaination..........

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of
a
job application. You could pick up the old lady, because she is going
to
die, and thus you should save her first; Or you could take the old
friend
because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance
to
pay him back.
However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble
coming
up with his answer. He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to
my
old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay
behind
and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams."

Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn thought
limitations. Never forget to "Think Outside of the Box."

However.......................................

The correct answer is to run the old lady over and put her out
of her misery have sex with the perfect partner against the bus stop,
then drive off with the old friend for some beers.

Subject: Test for my smart friends The following short quiz consists of
4 questions and will tell you whether you are qualified to be a
"professional. " Scroll down for each answer. The questions are NOT that
difficult.

1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?

The correct answer is: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe, and close
the door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an
overly complicated way.

2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?

Did you say, "Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant, and close the
refrigerator? " (Wrong Answer)Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, take
out the giraffe, put in the elephant and close the door. This tests your
ability to think through the repercussions of your previous actions.

3. The King of the Forest is hosting an animal conference. All the animals
attend except one. Which animal does not attend?

Correct Answer: The Elephant. The elephant is in the refrigerator. You just
put him in there. This tests your memory. OK, even if you did not answer
the first three questions correctly, you still have one more chance to show
your true abilities.

4. There is a river you must cross but it is inhabited by crocodiles. How
do you manage it?

Correct Answer: You swim across. All the crocodiles are attending the
Animal Meeting. This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.

According to Anderson Consulting Worldwide, around 90% of the professionals they tested got all questions wrong. But many preschoolers got several correct answers. Anderson Consulting says this conclusively disproves the theory that most professionals have the brains of a four year old.
