Photo courtesy of Sankei Sports: Actress Takeuchi Yuko (26) made her first public appearance since filing for divorce with actor Nakamura Shido (34). Takeuchi appeared at a promotional press conference for Sony Ericsson on the 15th but did not appear for the "Letters from Iwo Jima" press conference which she stars along with Clint Eastood and Watanabe Ken.

omg She's divorcing? I hadn't heard about that. Why? They seemed to be a great couple. :(

*edit* I got it now after reading the previous pages. Still feel shocked and disbelief to hear that news. That Shindo guy ought to learn how to treat and respect women properly! A wife is a human too! not some pet or a lifeless thing.

Poor Yuko-san. She's definitely lost weight, not to mention, there's a tinge of sadness in her voice. Facial expression seems *QUITE* sullen... :puppydog:

I don't pity her. She looks fabulous! It's her husband I pity! (put any degrading adjective in front of husband :hehe: ) Leaving him was the best thing she could have done for happiness. Smart move! I'm sure she is much happier now, then she was with him. :victory:

it's said that you are connected to anyone on the planet through 5 other people. well, my father called me from japan to tell me that his work colleague went to school with takeuchi yuko!

unfortunately since leaving school they've lost touch. :puppydog:
