Yuko definitely deserved better. It's disappointing not just the fact that she got hitched with that playboy, but she, sadly, had a child with him. Actually, she probably married him after realizing that she was pregnant and felt it too much of a disgrace to have the kid out of wedlock.

Anybody see Yuko's 3 latest films? - Closed Note, Midnight Eagle, and Dog in a Sidecar (translated right?) ?

The first two don't appear that they'd be good, and have had some bad reviews. The Sidecar film seems interesting....

I hope that at least one of these will do well box-office wise. Yuko could definitely use some positive pub ever since the Shido disaster. :grumble:

Yuko plays a blind woman (as you can probably tell from the pic). The script is written by Shinji Nojima.

Yeah, she definitely looks more elegant compare to her old bubbly self. Somehow, I think that she's plagued with some sorta 'darkness' after that failed marriage thing with 'Takumi' from Ima Ai ni Yukimasu. LoL.
