I installed a bunch of stuff that was available on the link (on AMD's website) and it worked. :woot: My 2 cores got down to 1Ghz and when I run CPU hungry apps, it goes back up. :yippee:
Thank you.

Maybe you have a firewall that blocks animated stuff, or some other adblocker.

Still have my 3g ipod too.
Formatting new harddrives is a pain in the a*s. After 2 hours, only 30% done on a 750GB and I have 4 of them... :bleh:

4 X 750G? That's some serious storage!

It's for a storage server (movies and other stuff). They are in RAID, so only 1.5TB of storage instead of 3. :(
Still way more than what I have at home. :drooling:

If you don't need that much that's ok. They are a bit expensive. $500, more or less, each.

Something like that would be nice to backup dramas and pics.
I'm sure in 5 years, we'll all have bigger ones filled with crap. :hehe:

Yeah, i'm using my 200G drive as an excuse to download more dramas lol... I just have to remember to back up my files to CD or DVD.
(Note to self: BACK UP #@$$%#@&*!! FILES!!)
Especially as my last HDD died without any warning.

Sorry for the double post :)
At work we have just changed how our comps log on to the network - it's a domain setup now. I've just discovered that Win XP firewall on my comp won't allow Bit Tornado access to the net :( and I can't change it because this setting is covered by something called "Group Policy" (This is where my comp knowledge falls down). I tried logging on as Administrator but still the same problem - and i've noticed that other things are blocked too, such as Dreamweaver. Anyone know how to override this? I would like BT to work, since we will be getting a 24M/bit connection soon ;)
I guess I could use HTTP Tunnel?

The only way to override this is by not loggin in. (into the domain). The group policies are applied the second your account is validated. :(
If they configured the proxy right, they should block your net connection, if you're not logged into the domain. HTTP Tunnel might be the only way.
