hmm shounen club 2004.03.14 is actually a review of the 2003 Shounen Clubs so the two clips shown were actually filmed at different times.

In the first clip:
Ryo writes to Ueda: "What are you trying to be?"
Apparently Ryo means Ueda's appearance, as if he was trying to be something he was not.
The other people immediately steps up to comfort Ueda.

In the second clip:
Ueda writes back to Ryo, "What do you have to say to me?"
(background: oooo he's mad, he's mad)
Ryo: "Who are you?"
Ueda: "Ueda Tatsuya"

there's a third clip which was what tinx was explaining: Ryo and Ueda were asked to write letters to each other to explain what they thought of each other. yea, i'm still looking for the full versions of those shounen clubs, but they're no longer seeded on jpopsuki so if anyone knows where I can get them, let me know! :puppydog:
