Hi. I just have a question that I knew would be best to ask here. Not to say that I don't trust otther forums or anything, but I know that you guys are die hard fans and will tell me straight. I've been expanding my JE outlook from just Tackey and Tsubasa to many other JE groups, News being one of them. I was going through a couple of forums last night to just kind of get a feel for the guys or whatever....when I came across some rumors. One of the girls said something along the lines of News breaking up/calling it quits because JE wanted to shift the focus to KAT-TUN or something like that?
Um....just how true is that? Sounds kind of...I don't know...inaccurate to me. Am I wrong for not believing that?
Like I said, I came here because I know that you guys will tell me exactly what's going on. Since I've been on jdorama for a while now, I know that this thread is very reliable
*beams at the thought of us being reliable*
not true, not true at all..
reasons for my saying this..??
1. at their last concert, they promised their fans that they'd be back. and I believe in this promise, as they're not the sort to go back on a promise and hurt their fans. especially seeing the emotion and devotion they put into the concerts
2. each time a new group debuts, attention will inevitably fall to them. if a senior group calls it quits each time a new group debuts, just because of this, then there would be no senior Johnny groups, now, would there? its a ridiculous reason for a quit rumour
3. as much as I hate to admit it, the only ones who could survive at the moment without NEWS are Yamapi, Ryo and Uchi. no words are needed to explain why Yamapi would be fine, and Ryo and Uchi have Kanjani8 to fall back on.. but the others.. their fanbase is not as wide as Yamapi's. (though true NEWS fans would still continue to support them, regardless) but what I'm saying is, quitting would only jeopardise their career. they've gained a lot from being a group, why should they quit?
4. refer to number 1. :hehe: no, seriously.. thats the strongest reason I have
and thus, are my reasons so far. feel free to add, anyone!!! haha
*sends death rays to the girl* :hehe: jk
NEWS are only currently in what has been termed a 'reflection period'. they're still carrying on with their solo projects and are still appearing together on Ya-Ya-yah's show, but they're just not identified as NEWS anymore (although, if anyone noticed, the news clip abt Tegoshi's new drama with Koki and Nagase mentioned 'Tegoshi of NEWS'.. hmm) they'll be back in 2007, stronger than ever  haha
