NEWS

yeah.. Shige and Tegoshi both had "tooth jobs", LOL. and now, they both have beautiful smiles ^^ (though I sometimes miss the cute smiles they had when their teeth were messed up ;p)

Shige's smile is just soo... *melts* Never mind that he says he's a genius in smiles and that some say his smiles sometimes looks fake, when he smiles, he's just makes me :inlove:

Me, an excellent source on information? Oh no, you flatter me, haha :rofl:
Nah, seriously, I know no more than anyone else here. I only just tend to overthink and analyse things and, I also have no life since I practically live in this thread, so I tend to voice out my opinion more ^^;
I need a life!!

Wanna know something? i'm not too sure about the 'fake smile' part. he may have said it, but if he MEANT it, then he sure must teach me how to make that smile shine through my eyes. ok, i'm sounding idiotic, but ....well, you're right :sweat: : you CAN melt. :nut:

By the way, i thought that he was really cute when he did that Christmas greeting thingy (sorry - i forget where / when but i think all NEWS fans would know what i'm talking about). he was really shy before and after doing it, but WHILE he was doing it ... i'm sure a lot of young girls would've volunteered to SPEND NEXT CHRISTMAS TOGETHER too, PROMISE (?), WITH SHIGE. :muack:

i like koyama too, and i think he has a great voice, of course, and i thought it was really sweet how he blushed when he had to do that Christmas greeting thing. :applaud:

well, long live NEWS. :victory:

:naughty: Oh yeah, i'm not too sure about RYO's singing voice. Yamapi's voice is strong, of course, but ryo's seem to be a little bit on the smaller side? :crazy: I dunno, since i am new, but SHIGE seems to have a better voice although he doesn't sing so loudly? Please advise. :naughty:

hantuwriter wrote:My mind works a bit differently than others :hehe: and this is how I see it.
As a company, JE has to take the views and perception of the public very seriously in order to maintain a respectable position. Uchi was suspended, then Kusano, and then the group put on hiatus. General public were probably already connecting NEWS to drunken minors, so JE had to take NEWS out of the public spotlight for a while.

And so, by taking NEWS out, there was no way they could allow Uchi to return, at least, not before NEWS were put on hiatus and not until some time had passed. Because, bear in mind, Uchi was one of the culprits that caused the hiatus. They couldn't let Uchi return when they had just announced NEWS to be on a break. The public would think, "oh, look, they're putting the group on a break, but they're letting one of the troublemakers come back". It just wouldn't sit well with the general public, though fans would be delighted as hell.

That, however, is just my opinion, and it is only about why he hasn't returned earlier. Why he hasn't returned yet to K8 is something that puzzles and frustrates me, but, it could possibly be also for the same reason above. The problem is, Uchi is in two groups, and letting him return to one group, while the other group is on a hiatus because of something that he partly had a hand in is, well, to tell you the truth, unfair. I don't mind it, but, the fact remains, its unfair... don't see why it should concern JE though, seeing that they've made quite a few unfair decisions already, what's the difference of another one? I sure would like to see him back

I think differently. I think JE should take advantage with the K8 boom lately and bring Uchi back to K8 first. K8 have been really getting stronger without Uchi although the Kansai boys obviously love their little brother a lot. So not bringing back Uchi to K8 would be a stupid mistake. It's more unfair to Uchi than to K8 because as of now, each member of K8 is getting more fans and supporters in Japan and some Japanese fans seem to forget Uchi already. If JE delays Uchi's return any longer, it will be harder for him to keep up with the other eito.

looks like its Tego fever now... and out topic favorite is Baka-Jin studying... I think since he is Yamapi best friend then we talk about him here... For me I think when Jin went for study, for sure Yamapi will be lonely but I think Toma and Ryo still there for him right?

Of course Pi won't be lonely! He still got Toma-kun.

Unless Toma quit JE out of frustration...

Woah..I am seriously lost..this thread is way too fast for me to handle..lol!
I am still trying to recover from my fever.. :sweat:

Let me guess... you're really, really, really, fond of Shige aren't you? :hehe:

Their voices are open to opinion actually.I wouldn't really describe Yamapi's voice as strong. I would say that it is distinct. It's kinda different from anyone elses, and unlike Tegoshi and Massu, whose voices blend in with the others' voices, his stands out. Ryo has a nice nasal kind of singing voice. Shige when he sings, his voice is low. Guess he's the bass of the group :hehe: When I hear his voice, I tend to think that he's more suited to sing rockish type of songs. If I had to choose who had a better voice between Shige and Ryo, I would pick Ryo ^^

I'm glad to hear your opinion, and I see the truth in it. The length of the suspension has been unfair to Uchi, although some might argue that though the length of it is unfair, being suspended was his fault in the first place ^^; There is a theory that Uchi is actually already back with K8, only he's in the shadows and JE haven't announced his return yet, because he needs to get back into the routine after a long absence and learn the choreography and stuff. That is kinda logical, so, who knows, Uchi might just be a K8 single away from us.

sweetie85, hope you recover from your fever pretty soon. Get lots of rest and water :hehe: :mrgreen:

sweetie85: no wonder I haven't seen you for few days here.. hope you will get well soon.. and come here alot ne!

WD: I won't dare to think that Toma will leave JE... there, the word of UNFAIR come again! If I was him.. me also frust.. but I think Yamapi will always support him and I know Toma knows that Yamapi needs him there.

hantuwriter: I'm glad what you said.. I really wanna see Uchi whether he with K8 or NewS.. And WD are right they should take this advantage to bring Uchi back to the business..

Kakliza: Looks like you like Shige most here.. well untill now I still try to recognize their voice.. I can recognize Yamapi, Ryo and Tegoshi, but the rest its kind split up with each other :hehe: Imaybe when I listening to their song, I'm enjoying the song more rather than listen to who singing is..
maybe I should listen carefully next time ne!

Jya ne!

wee! I feel like giving my 2 cents on this Uchi/Kusano thing, lol
Well, Uchi might possibly be back already as Fa mentioned, but IF (big if) Uchi or Kusano never return, I think it would of have been Uchi and Kusano's decision NOT to come back. I SERIOUSLY doubt that the old man would keep these two away from the fans, they are also part of his money making empire. So Uchi is probably enjoying the normal life....who knows, but we should respect their decisions if they do decide that.....BUT if it was JE's decisions to never let them back (when they do want to) then we should all go to japan and burn down their headquarters, :hehe:
The incident with Jin has made me think that they all have lives too, and they probably want to live it normally once in a while...

Okay...*goes back to writing paper* xD

dymmamie wrote:hantuwriter: I'm glad what you said.. I really wanna see Uchi whether he with K8 or NewS.. And WD are right they should take this advantage to bring Uchi back to the business..

well, bear in mind that that is only what some fans are thinking. I wouldn't build my hopes up too high ^^; I'm still taking the cautious approach and waiting until I actually see Uchi with my own two eyes before believing he's back or anything

hmm, burn their HQ? tempting... LOL :hehe:
experiencing a normal life after having lived a hectic one devoid of privacy is probably a luxury to them. I can see Uchi not wanting to return, but not Kusano. Don't know why... I guess because I see Kusano as someone who practically lives on attention and fame ;p

I won't want to burn their HQ. I'd want to SAVE massu from the hands of the evil (you guys should know who i'm talking about. =x ) MUAHAHA~~~

ANYWAYS, why the sudden rush of enthusiasm? suddenly SO many posts... difficult to catch up... LOL.

i want MORE massu~~~!

It is already confirmed that Uchi was being forced to drink by that hateful female news reporter from Fuji TV. So Uchi isn't 100% at faultccin Japanese business world, especially in Johnny's, it's very very important to obey a senpaic..so I think 1 yr of suspension is far more than enough for him.....I agree that maybe it's Uchi himself who doesn't want to come back.....and i agree that Kusano is different case.........Kusano does show much more interest in money and fame.........But then there are rumors that he still didn't behave and keep on drinking under 20.....which makes the chance of his return more uncertain than it already is...........

And about the theory of Johnny must let Uchi return b/c he's one part of his money making empirec..I have a different view on thisc..Yea, Uchi can make money for him, but he's not the only one, nor is he the most profitable, so it actually doesn't matter that much to Johnny.........Especially when we see that Kansai 8 and NewS are getting more popular after Uchi's suspension, what does that imply? Johnny can still make lots of money without Uchi. It's simple logic, the resignation of one ordinary employee would not make big influence to the big company, unless that employee is the best top executive level employee. But sorry to say, there are many more profittable artists than Uchi. That's what many Jin fans worry about too. If KAT-TUN can still make similar amount of profit after Jin left, Johnny may see that there's no need for Jin's return anymore. So now many Jin fans say that they will boycott KTTUN's CD until Jin's return. They have to show Johnny how big influence does Jin's absence would make. This may work for Jin but probably not for Uchic.b/c Jin is 1 of 2 most popular member in KAT-TUN, I bet at least 1/3 of KT fans are Jin fans. So if they boycott KTTUN products, Johnny may loss big portion of profit. On the other side, Uchi in NewSc.obviously over half of NewS fans are Yamapi fans.....and there are fans of other 6 members, even if all Uchi fans boycott NewS products, its influence would be small. Especially when we see Yamapi's solo products sell even better than NewS products.......So I really doubt if Johnny will let Uchi return for this reason.......

Wow, this is fun! its been a long time since we had a serious discussion...

Make no mistake.. offer, force and coax are three words with entirely different meanings. For Uchi to be forced into drinking, there would need to be something at stake that he would lose if he didn't drink. The only thing that was at stake then, was his career, which he would lose if he drank. Although I do hold the female presenter partly responsible because she was the adult there and should have known better, Uchi is at fault too. She's only his senpai in terms of age, and not in terms of a proper working relationship. Being a kouhai does not necessarily mean blindly obeying the senpai even when its breaking the law. Senpai or no, he should have remembered that first and foremost, he was a Johnny. That in itself, should have deterred him. Though sometimes I do suspect that for JE, Uchi's crime was in him being caught, not in him committing an offence ^^;

Uchi may just be a small pawn for JE, but he's a pawn nonetheless. Admittedly, as an individual, he is not worth as much as Yamapi, and as part of a group, it has been proved that he is not indispensable. That is in monetary terms. If you look at it in, ermm... for lack of a better word, social terms, Uchi is worth a lot. Worth is not just in terms of profit. The K8 boys love him, and there's no knowing how they will react to Uchi being forced to stop. So do NEWS. Forcing a member(s) of a group to stop can lower the morale of the other group members, especially when the management had said that it was only to be a suspension. Internal unrest and distrust is something that any company would like to avoid.

I regard the Kusano rumours as just that, rumours. Kusano has a hunger for fame, and I don't think he would risk that. He's received the consequences and knows the danger, and he also realises that he has hurt his group members in the process too (at least, he should realise that). If he is stupid and immature enough to indulge in underage drinking, then by god, he doesn't deserve to be handed a career on a silver platter.

In the case of Jin, you're looking at it from the angle that Jin is actually taking a break because he is unhappy with how he is being treated by JE. Let's say that it is true. The way I see it, fan's boycotting KT in order to get Jin back could potentially backfire. Let's say the plan works and JE realises that they need Jin afterall. What if Jin doesn't want to come back after the treatment that he had received? Then what? Fans would be left with a Jin-less group that is on the border of destruction. KT themselves might possibly think that all they are to the fans are 'accessories' to Jin. What if after all that boycotting, JE still see no need in Jin (remember, he hasn't been doing anything and JE seem to be fine with that), but see that KT is not much worth and decide to disband them?

Wellcccthe theory I was commenting on was the one about Johnny letting Uchi return b/c they want to earn more moneycc.it's completely in monetary terms, I didn't consider anything concerning the artists' emotional factorscc..but still, we all know how dark is the entertainment industry and Johnny's.......I doubt they would care much about how the artists feel....(just look at 4Tops incident)

About Uchi and the news reporterc.I didn't say either one is 100% responsible. I don't blame all to the reporter, but I think Uchi isn't 100% at fault either. And he's just a junior back then, the adult should be blamed as wellccanyway, my main point is Uchi has received enough punishment than he deserved. So I really want him return soon, unless it's really his own wish to quit......And Kusano......I don't want to talk about him anymore......Honestly I dislike him, so my comment will be bias......

And Jin's caseccwell, obviously those Jin fans who will boycott KTTUN are Jin fans only, they are not KT fans, so they already said that if even their boycott can't make Jin return (whether Jin willingly to quit or not) they just wouldn't support a group w/o Jin anymore. Well, it's bad for KAT-TUN group fans, but it's understandable about these Jin fans' action.....if they like KT b/c Jin is the member, then of course there's no reason for them to continue to support the team if Jin quit.

Yay.. believe it or not, I'm actually having fun. Sorry...

Haha.. you don't like Kusano? To tell you the truth, it took me a much longer time to forgive him than it took me to forgive Uchi. Kusano's circumstances and Uchi's circumstances were different, and I saw Kusano's as worse.

Well, anyway, I think I can safely say that we both agree that Uchi's suspension has been too long. I've already given my opinion as to why it has stretched on as long as it has, it mainly being that unfortunate incidents have delayed his return. If he really, definitely isn't going to come back, I think JE would have made an official announcement already.

Breaking up an undebuted group and firing an artiste who has debuted have different implications on JE. As juniors, they have been accustomed to group reshuffles. In a debuted group, it is different. Sure, there have been people who have left a debuted group, like Moriuchi and that SMAP guy, but, these were people who left on their own accord. JE could stand to lose two groups if they fire Uchi if those two groups beome unhappy and disgruntled enough (I don't really see this happening, but, since we're just speculating stuff, then, what the heck). So, social worth in the end becomes monetary worth...

The main reason why I don't see JE simply letting go of Uchi is that they wouldn't have taken more than a year to let him go. If they didn't want him, they would have just saved their money and everybody's time by just firing him early on. The only way that he would never come back is, like everybody says, if he himself decides so.

I think I've been going in circles...

Well, anyway, let's just wait and see if what some fans are thinking that Uchi is preparing himself and will be back with the next K8 single is true or not.

Wow..what is going here?? :nut:
I am having a headache and when I reached the forum,I am getting more dizzy.. :shakehead:

ahaha... it's just me going crazy and letting my thoughts go in all directions :hehe:

let's all just listen to Hadashi no Cinderella Boy and curse the unfairness that is the entertainment world...

Comments about really, really, really liking Shige:

:hehe: Hello, how are you? thanks for views. i do like shige, i guess - i don't know how it happened : just that one thing led to another. i like the bass of the group part, which is kind of funny in a way :rofl:

:dancing: i do like ryo too. of course, he looks good, very sexy because he has strong self confidence and it shows, and i heard he acts very well....who can ever forget Santa Claus Ryo-chan during that Christmas wishes that they did "I am your Santa Claus and i will give you ANYTHING you want..." or something like that....If he said that to me, i already know what I want from him :naughty:

Yamapi, yeah, very distinct. :applaud:

I like koyama, and all the rest too. :woot: Yeah, I guess I like all of them, it's kind of hard to choose just one.....but if I were really, really really forced, under the threat of death, to choose one favourite ....hmmm....i guess I'd choose Shige. I usually choose underdogs, i guess ; not intentionally, but ...just do.

oh yeah, I don't know much about Uchi, since i came to know NEWS after he was suspended, but i hear he sings very well. He's still young, and maybe this is a blessing in disguise : WHEN ONE DOOR CLOSES, ANOTHER DOOR OPENS. maybe his other venture will make him even better. :mrgreen:

TO NEWS, good luck, may you be successful. :naughty: :muack:

sweetie85, I'm sorry to hear you aren't well. It's no fun being sick. Hope you get well soon! :fingerscrossed: :puppydog:

What are their circumstances, exactly? o.o I read something about a woman involved with Uchi's suspension. (By the way, Uchi's really cute.) I'll look it up on Wiki when I get back. ^_^;;

But although Jin's my favorite KAT-TUN SINGER (Kame's my favorite actor), I think it's just stupid to boycott them, since it only hurts them. -.- All I can do is hope for his return.

He's never my favorite member, before or after the drinking incident.....And so of course I dislike him even more after the incident......So sorry to say, but I really don't care about his return.....I am fine w/ NewS with 7 members with Uchi's return.

Gorahgurl wrote:What are their circumstances, exactly? o.o I read something about a woman involved with Uchi's suspension. (By the way, Uchi's really cute.) I'll look it up on Wiki when I get back. ^_^;;

Both Uchi and Kusano are being suspended for underage drinking scandal....

Uchi is verified that he was being told by a senpai (the female news reporter from Fuji TV) to go out and drink with her and her friends. Uchi was silly enough to obey such order........and then he got drank and being left alone in the park by the reporter and later on found by the police.

On the other hand, Kusano has a photo with him holding a beer towards his mouth being published by a magazine. And the magazine said he was drinking w/ a girl fans in a karaoke room and there was rumor about him having relationship with that girl......Kusano and Johnny's denied everything. They said he only put the beer in front of his mouth but didn't drink it......But still get him on suspension for causing such misunderstood.....

Many people (including myself) think it's hard to believe a person would put a beer in front of his mouth but don't drink it.........and even if he really didn't drink it, with Uchi's incident already happen, as the same group member, he should behave more carefully and keep himself far far away from any alcohol, drinking or not.....if he didn't drink, why would he hold a beer in front of his own mouth, making himself look like he's drinking?
