Really? The Sayaendo PV with all the NEWS members in it? If that's true... *spazz*

Had anyone happen to see it? I'm surprised that NEWS revival is happening so soon. It's not even January yet, not that it's a bad thing.^^

The Actual Sayaendo PV (not the one with One Piece animation)
was aired on Space Shower TV on Dec. 28th.

The PV contained NEWS at the concert singing Sayaendo, and cartooon characterized NEWS members.

I just was so excited that NEWS is coming back on TV as a group, preparing for the big return^^

I do not think that anyone has the video of this, since Space Shower TV is hardly known even in Japan,
but if you happen to have the PV, I would really appreciate it if you can upload it^^

the sayaendo live thing they did in the concert was with only 6 members, and if the cartoon characters only showed 6.. then..

It features a mixture of the One Piece animation, Live Concert clips from the Spring Concert and cartoon animations of a six member NEWS in the One Piece style. Massu is eating, Shige is playing his guitar, Tego is doing his Tegoshi-desu pose, Yamapi's section has something to do with the sea, Ryo looks angry and Koyama looks very cute.

and apparently it seems to be the same one shown too the swedish fans the last time tegomass went over -.-''

I cannot believe I MISSED tegomass when they came to Sweden. I had no idea and read about it a couple of days later on the internet. :shamefulcry: I wouldn't have been able to go to Stockholm to meet them anyway but at least I could have sent out a happy hello thought to them! and celebrated that I was in the same country as them for a couple of days! XD

I have just started to listen to NewS but I really love their music! Will Uchi and Kusano really come back next year? what about kanjani 8 and everything? they are in two bands at the same time? sorry for not knowing! :sweat:

Welcome fellow NEW fan!! xD Yeah, Uchi and Kusano will officially come back next year sometime during January. Kanjini8 will also have Uchi back too.^^ It's actually Uchi and Ryo that are part of two groups, NEWS and Kanjini8, not Kusano. OMG!!! jess! that's the happiest news for the last seven month! OMG I just can't wait to see them... even though I can't watch them live on tv.. but to hear them on tv was so greart ne... since we didn't know when they will come back...

I know that Uchi and Ryo are the ones in Kanjani 8. :) I know my last didn't really say that.
When I first got interested in NewS I really had to STUDY! I had to learn a lot about JE, which members that were part of two or more groups, which members starring in dramas and everybody's names.. I prefer studying NewS over school though! :mrgreen:

As for koyama, actually he did tease him about his single eyelid (or rather double eyelid). Pretty sure he teased uchi too but i can't think of an example at this point :)

yaparri! i was wondering these past few days while scrubing NewS old clips in YT.... and during the ryo as mr x episode ~ it got me thinking why ryo didnt tease pi and one of my guess is that pi is ryos senpai.... so its really true then?? i mean pi and tackeys senpai-level are almost the same ne? :)

well im not really surprise since theyre not really popular there! lolz those zoomin interviews from stockholm are done in some small uknown area ~ or iono but i felt like they were hired fans?? lolz the clips were too exag for me... no offense but i love tegomasu! i just bought their miso soup ltd edition for the sake of the dvd! i didnt like the song ~ not my copy of tea!

I followed everything that happened around tegomass on the internet but I still missed it.. they were in the paper though... I kept that page! XD cute picture.

I do agree, I like the Japanese version too. The English version was awkward, and I couldn't understand a single thing even though it was in English.^^; Not to insult Tegoshi's or Massu's English, it just sounds better in Japanese.^^

Sighh.. the current discussions going on are mostly about the number of members that would return. Some say that only 6 will be back since when Uchi and Kusa were suspended, Johnny tried everything to prevent NEWS from releasing anything that showed that there were only 6 members, they didn't even have a sayaendo pv because Johnny was trying to preserve the "NEWS as 8 members" image. But now, Johnny has decided to release the live action PV with only 6 members, so it hints strongly of a NEWS return with 6 members.

Also another rumour i got from NP. Credits to krazevjb3rg@NP and 131172@Jpopmusic forum:

according to sources Johnnys had gather NEWS this October to discuss about their return in 2007 and Uchi was also involved in the meeting. It is believed that that NEWS will return as early as the start of 2007 and Uchi is currently in Tokyo practicing dancing to prepare for NEWS return. As for Kusano, due to negative news of against him during his suspension period, Johnnys decided to release him as he did not show any remorse.

Of course we know the credibility of rumours (this was reported in a chinese newspaper and most likely spiced up) and err.. i don't remember any scandals of kusa during his suspension period too..

HMM yep! you guessed correctly! Pi is ryo's senpai by two years i think. But tackey is pi's senpai if i'm not wrong and pi really looked up to tackey!

Haha i think ryo did tease uchi before, or at least scolded him in one of the tv programmes where they played basketball. I'm not very sure about that though, maybe the kanjani8 fans can tell you more :)

Well actually there is a possibility that the two suspended members themselves do not want to come back to NEWS. It requires quite a great deal of courage, after being "blackmarked" and coming out again. I hate to say this but although kusa and uchi's absense may cause some hooha among the fans at first, but people will forget about them like the 9th member? and new fans won't even know they existed. Pi's fanbase alone is enough to push NEWS' sales thus Johnny doesn't really need to worry about NEWS not being able to sell without kusa and uchi.

Of course, for fangirls like us who like the group not just because of one member, we hope for kusa's and uchi's return together la, though the probability of that happening is pretty low, perhaps 20%?

apparently it's reported in yahoo.co.jp that NEWS will be back as 6 members and take part in the new year countdown!! Kusa and uchi will be considered "trainees". I guess that means they will be back at JE but just as observers and not take part in NEWS activities till they are given the green light to.

but it's better than not coming back at all!!

Well actually there is a possibility that the two suspended members themselves do not want to come back to NEWS. It requires quite a great deal of courage, after being "blackmarked" and coming out again. I hate to say this but although kusa and uchi's absense may cause some hooha among the fans at first, but people will forget about them like the 9th member? and new fans won't even know they existed. Pi's fanbase alone is enough to push NEWS' sales thus Johnny doesn't really need to worry about NEWS not being able to sell without kusa and uchi.

well this maybe true! but i dont think uchi and kusa will be forgotten that easily since they were NewS for a long time now compared to that 9th member... uchi and kusa did manage to create a large fanbase w/in NewS.. plus dont forget kusa and uchi loyal supporters still spreading their charms to the newly ones :)
yeah they may not be known for those new fans but there are alot of 8 NewS pictures that are scattered around so they might check those 2 other members or even the 9th one... i mean look at me ~ i came to love NewS just this december because of Notti and i was pretty late because NewS isnt active~ i was AKIRA SHOCKed when i knew notti was suspended but still ~ i decide to join the fandom mainly bcoz of him ~ and hoping for notti and uchis comeback... and same for those new fans to come~ they will occuply themselves watching those chibi NewS clips and we nver know they may become curious about uchi and kusa and this will lead to another large fanbase... l:fingerscrossed:
