NEWS

Heyah! This is probably old news to you guys  (err pun not intended) but if anyone's read Yamapi's diary entries, he's once again cut his hair and this time~~~~~~~~dyed it brown! I'm guessing it's to do with Proposal Daisakusen. Here's a photo of his latest look. This is from when they were at the Happy Feet 2 Premier thingy last week. Will upload the video now! Mostly has Tegoshi featured in it but check out Pi's new hairdo! He's looking like a lil kid again!

Once again.....NewS fans act fast!! Here's couple of tonite's Music Station captures I stole from Baidu (don't kill me, just 2 pics.....)

(just use these 3 pics as example, more captures are in Baidu.

http://post.baidu.com/f?z=181762930&ct=335544320&lm=0&sc=0&rn=50&tn=baiduPostBrowser&word=%C9%BD%CF%C2%D6%C7%BE%C3&pn=0

Haha, tonite full of RyoPi moments~~From walking out from backstage to sit and talk w/ the host (FINALLY! In the last two times they went to MS, Ryo-chan always sit on the edge faaaaaaaaar away from Yamapi and the host), to sit behind the host after performance, RyoPi are always right next to each other all nite~~^o^

And songs they sang:
Yamapi - Daite Senorita
Tegomass - Miso Soup
NewS - Sayaendou & Hoshi
(Heard that Ryo-chan sang K8 song....not sure though)

Now I'm totally baka, coz got confused with which MS is that.. the lastes one that I have is on the 9/3.. is there a new one? do they have to come so many time for one programme?
I think now I have about more than 3 version of Hoshi wo mezashite performance clips? but I love all of it! why don't they performed best friends?

hantuwriter: where are you going? your planned was good, but it takes time to do it.. hopefully emma have plenty of time to bring us there!

ginger ale: welcome!! you will have fun here!!!

The one I posted above is the MS they went tonite, just couple hrs ago. Yes, they go there so many times, well.....understandable. NewS return after long period of suspension and they have new single released soon, they need promotion. And with Hey3, Utaban, Haneru, and Music Fighter and so on, we'll get to see NewS every week from now on. And then Ryo-chan's SP and Yamapi's new drama.......will be very very busy~~(both of them and the fans)

BTW, just read Yamapi's tonite's jweb. Confirmed that Ryo-chan did sing K8's song as part of their medley. So total 5 songs they sang.

gosh jdorama screwed up my entry. i edited it!

@dyammamie Yup! The latest performance of NEWS on MS is TODAY and they performed daite senorita (pi, kei and shige), Kanfuu fighting (ryo and yamapi), Miso Soup (tegomass), sayaendo and hoshi wo mezashite. Sounds quite cool since it's a medley of all the songs NEWS did in the past year (whether as separate grps or indiv) as well as the new songs this year!

@Yamapifans HOORAY FOR MORE RYOPI! I hope Ryo got to speak more for today's MS, he seemed rather stone in the previous episode. And OMG ryopi singing kanfuu fighting together!! Yamapi's outfit sure looked weird though ><><

@yeuannh HEH NOPES! The group i was referring to was just an unofficial gathering of NEWS fans to order the single together since the shipping fee will then be cheaper ^^ Maybe you can do the same thing too heh :)

And you're not alone! I think i'm only familiar with the earlier members too.. Fa, Monta, Liza, you, yaone, dymmamie, Emma, Montanaky, Yamapifans. (I know this is super overdue but what's your real name Yamapifans?) but yeah! let's learn more about the new members here too :)

@Fa Hmm PV for Best friend (why isn't it best friends?!) ? That sounds good! Perhaps koyashige are in a separate PV and so are ryopi ^^ (and kuchi!) Sheesh, talking about kuchi, i think they seem to be gradually fading away.. :( Quick Emma! Gather all the jdorama forum-ers and execute the plan ><

@Emma OOH.. how long are you going to stay in Japan? All the best studying Japanese! I tried studying in the december holidays but gave up when term started ><

anyway for the benefit of those not in news_jpop lj, here's the link to download all the mp3 rips of the hoshi wo mezashite single. Please support NEWS by buying the single though!

Just watched Music Station......it's funny to see NewS (Ryo, Pi, Shige & Koyama) sing Kanjani8's song. Nice~~ I like the "forest tunnel" they went through while singing Sayaendou.......and the scene of singing Hoshi kinda shock me a little bit, that they were singing very quietly and peacefully on stage....and then in a blink second, hundreds of fans just appear around the stage from nowhere! LOL

Eh? They sang an eito song? What was it?

WD wrote:

The one w/ China style....wearing the red Chinese outfit......

Oh, one more thing wanna say about Music Station......This time NewS are especially nice to their fans. Usually the singers should just sing on stage, but this time most of them walk close to the edge of the stage, and Koyama even step down to the crowd. I am sooooooooooooooooo jealous of those fans!!!!!!!!!!! >_<

haha.. yamaperfection has kindly uploaded the MS medley on the news_jpop lj community, the post is here: http://yamaperfection.livejournal.com/140461.html

and for those who want to watch NEWS' performance on music fighter yesterday, you can find it here: http://community.livejournal.com/news_jpop/757443.html
I didn't download this though, thought the performance looked around the same as those they did on shounen club premium and MS :D

Somebody even uploaded the DVD rip of the DVD in the HwM single already, isn't that fast? However for that, you need to join the news_jpop community before you can dwld it :)

Anyway, dymmamie! You're coming over to Singapore? Tell me when you come and maybe i can go meet you! Anyway there's always kinokuniya here to get the magazines, HMV to get the singles/albums and a shop called mise to get the official/unofficial/illegal JE stuff though it's a little expensive and also comic connections located all over the island to get your comics and also illegal JE photobooks/photos/magazines etc imported from China.

Yeah! Akai Hana is the song in the LE whereas Best friend is in the RE.

Normal Edition Tracklist:
01. Hoshi wo Mezashite (¯‚ð‚ß‚´‚µ‚Ä)
02. Boom! Boom! POWER
03. Best Friend
04. Hoshi wo Mezashite (Original Karaoke) (¯‚ð‚ß‚´‚µ‚Ä)

Limited Edition Tracklist:
01. Hoshi wo Mezashite (¯‚ð‚ß‚´‚µ‚Ä)
02. Boom! Boom! POWER
03. Akai Hana

Nope there isn't a Best friend PV unless you count the one that Fa dreamt about :hehe: Yeah i agree with you! I think akai hana is a song that's really really hard to sing :bleh: I didn't expect NEWS to sing this kind since it isn't their normal style :hehe: but i like it! I think it woud be a really great challenge to sing this live though, it will definitely go very out somewhere..

Anyway here's the order they sang :) Check if you're correct!!

Yamapi->Ryo->Kei-chan->Tegoshi->All->Shige->Yamapi->All->Massu-> Shige->Ryo->NEWS

Harukamaru wrote: i just saw the caps in the MS performance 2007.03.16...and relized tegoshi cuts his hair...

Yup you are right!! Tegoshi did cut his hair and i think it gave him that innocent cute look all over again (YAY I REALLY LIKE THAT LOOK!) He has been acting really matured and smexy lately and i think it would be good for him to go back to his cute style :hehe: Somehow the hairstyle reminded me of penguin though!!

Now.. my comments for the performance on MS

1. I've something against pi's skirt thing.

2. I loved k8's kanfuu fighting but NEWS' version of kanfuu fighting rocks too :) (but i think it definitely suits k8 better). and since when did ryo like putting his hand on his hips when singing

3. Was distracted by the weird costumes on the jrs during miso soup :bleh: tegomass' voices owns as usual :)

4. The transition from miso soup to sayaendo to hoshi wo mezashite's lovely! The jungle thing they went through was so cool! There were even toy monkeys hanging down from the top..

5. OMG. when did all the fans come in!? And they are really noisy -.- And for the first time, ryo actually looked happy and not bored during the performance :hehe: And he finally looked into the camera *flashed his crater smile and waved!* And yay i see yuto!!

6. Ayumi looks bored.

Anyway i uploaded the performance on youtube for those who can't dwld: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQvEKqKkMK0

Oh yeah, they sang KanfuFighting, the no.4 single this year in the Oricon yearly (as of now). I kinda like it (more than their Hoshi wo Mezashite performance which I have to say I'm still not into the poppish thing NEWS do), but it's missing something still...maybe it's Subaru's voice, because his is what KanfuFighting special.

But I like this perf better than the last one.

AH~~The CM of Yamapi's new drama is out already!! Only saw the captures on Baidu, dunno where can I dl the video clip. Anyone knows?

PS: Look at the last pic at the bottom.....English name of this drama is "Operation Love"........
