Dude! I think NewS had enough media attention for the last 3 months...(that's why they're resting right now) Little activities and exposure? EHH? Are you kiddin me?! And i do think the "presscon" Jin/KT have today is the same "presscon" NewS had last january interms of "luxury"... , How could you missed this, it was obviously NEWS NEWS NEWS and NEWS everywhere...
And to be honest, even K8 wasnt THAT previlege in regards to 'media attention' they suppose to get during their spring con month bcoz it was still NEWS...


Even I, who have eyes only for KATTUN became a BIG NewS fan because of the "exposure" they were getting at that time ~

...sorede, it's time to give chance to other JE talents ~
Logically speaking - this is how the business works... esp with JE who has alot of talents under 1 roof ~

I completely disagree w/ you.......yea, NewS got lots of media attention when they released single, but when you compare to what Jin/KT got, it's relatively smaller for NewS.

The point here is that too few group activities for NewS even after they return. After con, everyone continue work solo projects, what's the diff btw now and last year? Waiting for that long and only see little group activities......just passed in a blink.......10fingers already count all the times NewS appear on TV w/ 6 members (exclude the couple mins news report). Who would be satisfied? I admit I am greedy, I want more NewS. I want NewS at the minimum have their group CM and own variety show like KT and K8 have......(I've said that wish for many times already....guess it'll be my last time saying it, don't want to sound too annoying.....^^;;)

No rush? b/c each busy w/ solo work? Then why everyone kept praying everyday last year for the end of suspension? Why everyone want the see NewS together again as soon as possible? No rush, since they were busy w/ solo work last yr too.....(hope i don't sound too rude......)

If you really look at it.....NewS's actually the group w/ least chances. Yes, individual have work, but not as a group, but then in Johnny's it's always focus on teamwork, they don't really see individual solo work as important as group.....

Being Yamapi and NewS fans and person who dislike KT, it's really no use to ask me to be fair. I am a fan of Yamapi and NewS, of course I only want the best and better things for them. If I want them share things equally w/ other artistes, it'd only happen when I equally love the other artistes as I love Yamapi. But then i would become a fan of all artistes, or not a fan of anyone but merely an audience.

That's it then! you said it for yourself - it's hard to be fair when you're just yamapi/news and who dislikes KT...

I do understand the point of view for those who are die hard fans ~

Altho keep in mind that Kt also had their hybernation period...

If you want to speak fairly, KT got 1 show only and no solo shows while NewS have millions of eppearance in shows daily/weekly or whatever it is (im talking about Yayayah, teshis game show or lets include ryo's talk shows) And they haven't launch a KT unit unlike tegomasu...Eventhough Akame was quite popular before - JE didnt give a damn

but when you compare to what Jin/KT got, it's relatively smaller for NewS.

I admit KT/jin as you've said have so much attention... Because KT manage to create a large fanbase (larger than NewS i believe), that's why some non-kt fans felt dissatisfied... And that's why JE took advantage of KT's popularity by giving them special treatment because thus, it generates money... AND JE IS ALL ABOUT MONEY MAKING ....

So my point is again, there's no need to blame KT for ... they're just hardworkers like NewS.... they're just working their a** off

K8 havent had a debut like NewS had, right?So there's really no equal sharing in JE because that's how the business works...

So it all boils down to JE...
JE is all about popularity! The more popular you are, the more busier you are! It's just so happends KT is relatively popular ~

Er....it looks like we are talking in different channel......I am talking about group, GROUP! I know each NewS member have many solo work, but we are talking about NewS, not Pi,Ryo,Shige,Tego,Massu,Koyama. Like I said before, the situation right now is more like full time solo work and part time NewS. If this situation goes on forever, NewS better just disband, or just make it a temp or limited time group or whatever......it's not a regular, normal Johnny's group anymore.....Throughout the whole Johnny's, only T&T and NewS are that loosely bonded......Yamapi's wish is to lead NewS to teppen. But seriously, if NewS continue to be their part time job, it'd never reach teppen.

Hm....once again, we are talking in diff channel. I never blame KT, I am not blaming particular person. I am just wishing NewS can have more group activities -- w/ 6 ppl. Ya-ya-ya doesn't count b/c Ryo and Pi never participate. I don't want NewS falling behind...You know, in Japan, more ppl know KT than NewS.....more ppl know Yamapi than NewS. I of course glad to see Yamapi is super well-known in JP. But since NewS is the group Yamapi will stay in probably for the rest of his singer life, and since it's Yamapi's wish to be the #1 group in JP, I'd like to see NewS as popular and well-known as Yamapi himself. In other words, wishing there'll be a day when NewS is more popular than any of the Johnny's groups. Of course, it's impossible in near future, but at least wish they are climbing up to it.......but in the situation right now......really hard to say......anyway, as long as Yamapi befriend w/ Jin, I won't "hate" KT (just dislike....although I DO HATE 2 of their members).

Wow, I don't know that we got a heated debate going on over here :mrgreen: As for me, I'm all K8 and the only time I care about NEWS is when it involves Ryo or Uchi and the only time I care about KT is because I like Jin and kinda like Koki...But...

I'm being patient and trying to be understanding that Ryo is in 2 groups, and the fact that these past 3 months NEWS have been all over the places promoting Hoshi wo Mezashite bothers me, when I've waited for 3 months and when K8 finally released a single, they only have TWO appearances on music programs. But I'm trying to be reasonable here, it is after all a comeback for NEWS so it's logical for them to be everywhere...

Just it is logical that the same kind of attention is being given to KT because Jin returns. They're taking turns, and though I'm not a KT fan even I realize that KT haven't had anything for the past 3 months besides their TV show (and that's the only one I remember KT is getting) because NEWS have it all. As for NEWS having their own TV show, sorry to say but apart from Koyama, the others don't have what it takes to make a TV show interesting, they just don't have it. Besides, even T&T don't have their own TV show, right?

Well, I'm getting nowhere here, but what I'm trying to say is, BE PATIENT! Your turn will come! Just like me waiting for May so that the media will start hogging K8 since they're beginning their 47-prefectural tour, or maybe June when they have a new album.

So to fans of both groups, just BE PATIENT!

Honestly I don't have much patience.......seeing the chaos around the world, especially in my country.......future is full of uncertainty......so I'd prefer doing things and enjoy as early and as much as possible.......no one can tell what will happen tomorrow........sigh.......sound so depressed......sigh.......

LOL! Well, I think when I was bumped into eito fandom some year ago, I didn't expect to go through tough time, but eito have gone through it all and patience is something I learn from them. I've waited for a long time for eito be as big as they are now (when they only started humbly unlike most JE groups), and I'm now trying to wait patiently for Toma to debut (if ever!)...Yeah, I'm really patient! :hehe:

well, when news firt got suspended, i started to dislike kattun since then they became popular and release their debut and so on...
but seriously, no one can blame neither KT och news for this...so i started to like KT again, although i love news the most...
But seriously, it all depends of how much the fans appriciate news group activities... as long as the fans dont die out, news wont either....
and actually as long as NewS themselfes is happy and can actually talk about each as a group (i mean like yamapi writing about his beloved group in his blog and koyama about koyashige and koyatego and memba ai) im fine with it... and really, they have been on like every show now, its just gonna take some time for them to come up with new ideas.
then i can say i dont like them releasing singles on theeir own, i dont, but their other solo activities, such as doramas and stuff, im fins with it...

its just so useless to fighting about KT and NewS, when the groups actually are really close friends in real... im sure none of them would want this ne...

oh, yesterday (friday) there was a program at SWEDISH televison about Je.... sinc ethw song writers are swedish, there was alot with news ne...
but i didnt like it, i want sweden to leave japan alone, since the fans here are annoying, the jrock fans are completly nice, but the JE fans are just... OMG.... :sweat: and people who just arent fans... just fake, and within 3 moths or a year, that interesst will go away... and thats such a shame...

There's really no KT month or NewS month or whatever it is...
It's relative to say that this is KATTUN month because of the numerous cons/activities they're currently have for this month, plus they just released their RF con DVD and their 2nd album...
Im sure NewS will have their turn in the next couple of months, you have to consider there's still other BIG JE group aside KT, NewS and Kanjani8...And im super excited for NewS to see them together again promoting themselves as a group... after all I AM A KATTUN, NEWS AND KANJANI8 FAN!!!
They're the only bands i adore in JE ~

and hey, does anyone know how the jrock system with tickets to concerts works? i would be happy if someone told me =)

I know someone who knows how to score tickets...
She's a member of the official fanservice which is the easiest way to get in touch w/certain jrock activities or get updated... Just like JE's official fanservice, you have to pay some fees and a resident of JP - or atleast have a physical address in JP ~
Better join those big JROCK forum and ask them since they're more familiar with these :)

yes yes. news is my number one. 2nd is kat-tun and 3rd is arashi and followed by others. i knew arashi first but news is still my number one because i'm big fan of yamashita-san! :mrgreen:

Maybe it would avoid tension by not saying things about kat-tun in a NewS thread? Yamapi and Jin are best friends sure but not all of us feel such excitement at Jin returning. He chose to leave just months after they were allowed to debut.

i watched yamashita-san live at music station ( watched many times ) . it was long time ago, he sang daite senorita. he fell the microphone.. but he still look gorgeous! :inlove:
