Yeah, I guess his personal life, as with some other stars, has collided head on with his career, in a bad way...I think it's possible one day he'll return to acting but you know how the Japanese entertainment industry, especially acting, seems hard to break into again after you've had a "major" personal event that tarnishes your image.

I'm currently watching him in Omiai Kekkon, an old dorama co-starring Matsu Takako...

pre-orders of his first album is on the 25th of this month!!!!...i'm gonna support him in this not-so new venture of his ...while waiting for him to come to his senses and do what he does best.. :fingerscrossed:

Seems kind of unfair. She didn't bail out on him (pun intended) when he went thru his skydiving phase. :P

Kubozuka Yosuke announced his impending marriage to his girlfriend PINKY through his Twitter in the early hours of 16 December. In his tweet, Kubozuka recounted that there had been many milestones for him this year such as his 20th anniversary in showbiz, making his debut in Hollywood and releasing his best hits album so he hopes to end the year with his marriage to his partner PINKY (real name Sugahara Yuka) who he has been dating for the past three years. With that, he hopes to make even greater progress in the coming new year. Besides his acting career, Kubozuka is also a reggae DJ performing under the name of ™Â‚k‚h‚m‚d (manji line).

Kubozuka was said to have known PINKY in early 2012 and stated dating in autumn the same year. Their relationship was first reported in 2012 and they were caught kissing at Narita Airport in April the following year. Since then, they've been uploading their photos on their social network accounts and rather open about their relationship. Although the date of their marriage registration has not been fixed, it is expected to be within this year and there are no plans yet for a wedding. PINKY is said to be not pregnant at the moment.

Kubozuka was previously married to another dancer two years younger than him from 2003 to June 2012. Their son Airu was born in October 2003 and is now 12 years old. However, due to differences in parenting styles, they went their separate ways with Kubozuka holding the custody rights of Airu. The couple are living in Osaka now with PINKY helping him to take care of his son.

Yosuke Kubozuka announces arrival of second child

Kubozuka Yosuke announced the arrival of his second child in an English message posted on his Instagram account on 27 June. His wife PINKY who is a reggae dancer, gave birth to their daughter on 20 June which was about 10 days before the expected due date and expressed his thanks to her, her doctor, the midwife, their family, crew and God for their support. According to the message, it was a difficult labour for PINKY as the entire process laster 33 hours. Kubozuka was full of praise for his daughter who he described as being so cute to the extent of him very surprised. PINKY also updated her blog where she revealed that Kubozuka had already chosen the name Amato for their daughter (Kanji characters not announced though) and she thanked everyone for their love and well wishes.

Kubozuka was previously married to his ex-wife from May 2003 to July 2012 and their son was born in October 2003. He married PINKY last December.
