orz... according to this gossip mag, ohno denied the use of marijuana. je made a statement to ban all coverage of it's artists with kodansha (u’kŽÐ) ie. a publishing house with mags like voce, vivi, with, sheukan gendai, etc

The "most painful" result of the breakup is the loss of the annual Johnny's calendars - which bring in a steady 200,000,000 yen a year (roughly $1.8 million). After next year they will be gone. No mention of change in publishers, but they will most likely be taking their business elsewhere.
Hm. Dunno if all this is true, but if so, that's pretty major. Kodansha is taking a big hit. But yeah, as mentioned in the comments, Johnny's will probably just find another publisher to do the calendars with.

There was a live recording last night for NTV Music Lovers (will be airing on the 13.. not sure). Its a live performance (plus band) setting in a cozy atmosphere with fans which included celebrity fans.
Ohno has apologized for causing the confusion. He also denied the drug and 3p allegations.
When they were asked what is necessary in Arashi, they answered: Ohno-kun is necessary in Arashi.
He's invaluable.
