waaahhh...very kind of you to enter cancer walk and all that charity thing...me? :shakehead: I never did that....
i love walking, but i think your situation is better, coz u got to see movie stars, etc.. you're lucky girl...
okaeri battegirlai~~!! it's great to know that you had fun!!
i'm just dropping by to just tell Jennie that the episode of D no Arashi has been succssfully uploaded into my clubbox (link in signature), enjoy watching it XD
fybabe, i went to a HUGE comic book convention in san diego over the weekend...the convention center is over a mile long...and i must have walked up and down that thing a hundred times or more over the last 5 days
i've been sitting for 5 hours now and i still can't feel my feet...
but yup! there were tons of movie stars and artists and authors and stuff there...Natalie Portman was there to promote her new V for Vendetta movie...the Rock was there to promote...er...some movie he was in...i didn't pay attention...all the kids and directors and stuff for the new Narnia movie was there...the cast of Firefly...Rachel Weiss...Orson Scott Card..Ray Bradbury...Ray Harryhausen...Jim Butcher...Yasuhiro Nightow...
i combed the dealers room looking for Arashi stuff...only found Gackt stuff...bleh...jrock is much more popular here than jpop....apparently the only jpop person that anyone here likes is Ayumi Hamasaki-whatsits....i can never remember her name
i didn't end up taking the costume...i have had a ton of headaches lately that have kept me from doing my nightly sewing...
Hajimemashite, actually i've been browsin' thru this thread for about 3 months, but since my twin Joyluck_sista82 was posting in this thread, so i never did any posting, and this is my first time. Douzo yoroshiku...
Sorry for being late, but i've found great friends from this thread, really appreaciate it. when my twin sister was introducing this five guys for the first time, i dun think i'm gonna like them so much. but the thing that make me fall for them maybe the fact a lot the fans that i've known are nice and they like to share everything about arashi. i mean, it's quite hard to like a group when they never really target their sales where u live. but it's really great to have pple spreading and sharing what they have on arashi. THANKS AGAIN!!!
i've been interested in Japanese language starting from a year ago, and i tried self-teaching myself the lingo with my twin. but only about 3 months ago, after i've known arashi, i have been able to understand more about the language. tho i'm not proficient, but hey, watching D no Arashi and Mago-mago, where they dont have subs, really helps me, well with one or two dictionary by my side...haha
that's just a bit of my intro... oh yeah, my fave member gotta be oh-chan. the rest are also outstanding, and i can't imagine arashi without anyone of them. maybe i'll also upload some of the things i have...one day...after i got everything else settled. just started my final semester in university, so i've got a lot of "warming up" to do...

what!!! u didnt put on the costume!!! hmm... maybe u can use it on cosplay instead. :P comic book convention with movie stars? so it is not really a japanese mangga convention right?
anyway, welcome back ~~ i still have to catch up reading this thread ...
the San Diego Comic Con is the largest comic convention in north america...it doesn't have just comics tho...it has movies, tv shows, anime, manga, artists, writers, toys, models, video games, computer programming, costuming (cosplay, renfaire, scifi, fantasy, horror), and just about anything else you could think of...
my favorite booths this year were the Corpse Bride booth (new Tim Burton movie...looks so cute!) and the korean Manhwa booth...the korean comics look so cute! i can't wait for them to translate them!
SDCC has everything...except Arashi! *cries*
speaking of being gone...was there a new minna no terebi this week while i was gone? i'm sure there was a d no arashi and a mago mago...i need to pop over to jpopsuki and look for them...
LOL, that was cute, especially the part where Nino and Oh-chan are sleeping together..muahahahaha! He was basically on top of him!
If I get it translated, then I will post it...eto, people are talking at the same time...yabai!
THNK YOU FOR THE TRANSLATION! I'M SO HAPPY, can#t wait to time it when I'm home, but I feel sorry for yamete_evie cause she wanted to translate it too!!!
Thank you both, I will read both trans and then mix them up a little for the subbing so that both of you can be proud! :say_cool: :say_thanx: :yippee: :jumpie: :dancing: party!!! WOHO!! :woot: :jumpie: :dancing: :yippee:
Yokaze: I somehow knew that it would be something with wind, cause I've heard the word kaza(=wind) a lot of times before in anime and music lyrics before. Japnanese people seem to like that word, cause I think 50% of the songs on my com contain the word kaze at least once!
Okaeri, Battlegirlai (Sorry for the late welcome back)
You were jokingly mentioning that we missed you but about a day after you left, someone really did mention that this thread is so quiet without your posts, lol.
The convention sounds really interesting. I don't think any con gets quite so exciting where I live but then again...I've never been to one. Well, judging by the size of the venue alone I can tell there's definitely nothing like that here!
:woot: i manage 2 u/l it d 2nd time!
