Some Aiba Butai stuff - (some have been previously uploaded, nothing really new except for the second commercial)

this is a skim over of, this page about the play...(I did this in a hurry sorry for any errors)

Production announcement for "Tsubame no iru Eki" in which Aiba Masaki is playing the leading role

Aiba Masaki of Arashi will be the leading character in the production of "A station with swallows". In addition to Aiba, Asae Oonishi, Iwasaki Hiromi, Ino Manabu, and Miyaji Masako are also in the play. Under the supervision of the performance theatrical company "MONO". This time, the performance will be a hit "I wrote a new scenario for the sake of this project" (Miyata) said.

After nucluer warfare of World War 3 of 2085, memories of the war began to fade. This butai is about japanese residents who live on the outskirts of a small waiting room station. Usually when things do not change from day to day, *Tanuki appears and floats like a cloud in the sky...which is a bad sign that little by little something is starting to happen. Nature, harmony, and japanese people? For sure nowadays, we must consider the theme and went with this flowing basis for the production. Takashima Keiji (this name may be incorrect because name Kanji can be read in many ways ‚“‡Œ[Ž¡ ), the station attendant who acts naive yet honest, will be the first leading role for Aiba Masaki.

"Nucluer weapon war, racial discrimination, etc are to be the theme of the production."

Will run from Sept. 6 - Oct. 9
Prices around $78US 8,500JPY

* references to Japanese mythology. A "tanooki" (really spelled tanuki) is a raccoon-like animal indigenous to Japan. In ancient Japanese tales, raccoons had quite a bit of magic power. One of their most renowned talents was the ability to shift their shapes by using leaves. They often used this to turn into humans. Other creatures, such as foxes, were also known to have these powers, but whereas foxes used this ability to often play cruel tricks on humans, raccoons were more of a nice and helpful nature. Large raccoon statues are also used in Japan as some kind of good-luck bringers.

Sakurai Camera in part2 is already invalid now :shamefulcry: .

Gacktsamachachamaru
Thanks for that translation. Ah...I really want to go see it. I'm a nut for theatre. And a threatre production with Aiba is just irresistable!

Too bad I'm halfway around the world.

Sho, Jun and O-chan were cast for the West side story-remake (have seen some pix on the net) does anyone know, when exactly it was shown in theater and if there is a dvd of it? :dancing: I only know that Sho played the main character, but who are Jun and Ohno?

ARIGATO!!! I'm dling them right now.

About West Side Story, as you know Sho played (or is still playing, not sure if play is over) Tony, Ohno as Riff, and Jun as Bernardo.

EDIT:

Oops. Not really good at posting images yet. Here are some pics of the guys in WSS. Sorry, there are more pics than I was intending to find.

YSI has a limit of 25 d/ls so it's such a waste of time...

arghhh.... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

for West Side Story, the play is over... there is no DVD for it... i'm still trying to finish d/ling all the clips filmed by a fan so be patient and we'll get it...

thanks for the arashi iza 2004 live concert, i love the first disc, especially the ohno solo, i never really had a thing for him like i did with jun, but after i saw his solo, and his dancing, i fell in love. :yippee: it reminds me of a couple of chinese songs that i know, and it kinda reminds me of justin timberlake. hmmmm i love him now. :victory:

bella-italia thanks for the WSS pics, some I hadn't seen yet... I like Jun with that tattoo, he should get one, all huge down his whole arm like that LOL!

I dont think I like fileserving on MIRC, like I thought I wouldn't, but I'll pop in to chat...Now I remember why I uninstalled that program.... :shakehead:
