and yup...about one or two pages back, gacktsama posted some pictures and one was jun with these pants that had just this...mass of feathers right over his crotch....it looked like a bird slammed into the front of his pants and died
ya know...i can understand why the concert outfits are so crazy...they hafta stand out from all the dancers and the stage...but...for a photoshoot?? feathers???? crotch???? O_o

What was your general opinion of the costumes in the show? (saw a little from the clip...just curious b/c they seem to kinda have evolved from crazy to kinda-crazy, but somewhat cool) and how was the dancing? (I'm sure you've probably answered some of these questions already. Gomen, I'm a little behind and I know you're not feeling well, so don't feel obligated to answer. I'm enjoying everything you've already shared!
From your report about the guys during the concert, it sounds like they really apprecitate their fans...since they try to interact so much with the crowd... just as we've seen from previous concerts they've done.
I think chubby_baby used a good word to describe the guys as entertainers. They not only sing & dance, they also like to bring the crowd along with them.
from that clip someone (sorry don't remember who, ARIGATO!) posted of the concert: WOW! I would have loved be standing under that clear stage, while screaming my head off! :dancing:

but first of all, i like the puff on the crotch and sho's crazy top, those guys are having fun anyway, so they should just go ahead and make the most of their imagination. they've got enough of kakkoi pics already, it's ok to be baka once in a while.
someone wished earlier to have all the cute moments of the con, eg. jun's breeze, to be in the dvd. but i doubt. coz it depends on which day of the con they are shooting for the dvd, and it's definitely not my matinee day. i didn't see any pro vid cameras around, and stuff like the jun's breeze is really ad lib, so tough luck on that...
as for their wardrobe this time... you've all seen iza or how's it going cons right? well, unless they fire all the jpop stylists overnight or yohji yamamoto takes over, they're all gonna be garish, kitsch, technicoloured, can-can and cheesy :sweat:
i thought the worst was when jun turns up in a full golden sequined period costume (for that 'matsujun??' whatsdename?? song)! you gotta squint in order to find jun under all that sparkle and the fake baldwithtopknot wig!!! yikes!!!
and in gackt's photo, they were doing jidai when wearing those red and black leather/pv/whatever outfits. it was a visually awesome perf with fires going off throughout the song along the edge of the stage. it was HOT!!! not just the perf but like LITERALLY HOT!!! i can feel the freaking flames where i was seated like a mile away!!! gosh... those poor boys must have melted a layer of skin to their pvs!!!
ok, there were some sane stuff... like aiba's solo which i described earlier and ohno for the solo he did last yr. ohno looks great in trendy torn jeans, designer t-shirt and jacket! plus point there! but maybe that's why the dancing is more limited this time... not dressed to dance?? :sweat: and for the encore, they were wearing t-shit and jeans...whew... i guess they must be relieved as well...

What I can't believe is that Sho is willing to wear the pink halter-top kind of clothes :rofl: :rofl: I salute him for being brave enough to wear it and I think it's just the normal practical joker side of Nino for doing that. Sho just had the luck of being the one who got dressed up by him.
As for the Aiba-running around, there are translations of it at Idolthoughts. That was where I first read it. I enjoyed reading the part where Ohno will make toasted bread at Osaka Hall just because the toaster is there and he also only makes it for Sho. When asked why, Ohno says he will be the happiest. And Jun said But I think even I will be happy too! :lol: Poor Matsujun wants Ohno's toasted bread too.
and ya, something i noticed this con. ALL the guys got sexier this time... i mean, ALL of them, at some point of the con, would have nothing on inside a loosely worn jacket! yes, including nino and ohno!!! i've never seen so much skin in previous con dvds (other than jun)... :hehe: all wet skin and tease this time... + that glass stage.... aaaaaargghgh... why wasn't i underneath it?!!!
and because they only have to change the jacket after a song perf, they just literally take the thing off, throw it off the stage, then someone from below them would throw up a different jacket for them to put on! so you could actually have quick glimpse of their bare tops!!! aaaahhhhhhh!!!!

Okay, I gotta admit, I started to giggle like a little girl when you were describing Sho's biceps. I could even feel myself blush a little! I hope they include all this kinda stuff on the DVD. (Probably not, but one can only hope can't they :fingerscrossed: ...)
before i go for dinner, i wanna say that Nino did a very kawaii solo!
he was perf on the middle diverder of the arena with i think 4 or 6 johnny's jr ( :sweat: i can't even count...!!), and he wasn't dressed really flashy, just something comfy, and he was like dancing and singing with the kids. who cares if he sounded like donald duck? the childishness somehow just added to the kawaiiness of the whole perf... + he was as short as those boys... hahahaha!! (oops... obviously i'm no nino fan...)
the fangirl next to me was just going like "kawaiiiiiiiii!!!! kawaiiiiiiiiiii!!!" all the way...
