hehe im kinda late but oh well my first impression on arashi

aiba:saw him in pikanchi double so pretty
sho: plain
ohno: i thought he was the youngest
nino: his mole made me pay close attention to him
jun: very weird style

my impression now

aiba: soo cool love him soo much
sho: sexy!!! love his rapping
ohno: he can sing good! and dance and hes really cool
nino: so young looking and so cute i like how he sings
jun: i like his voice alot and he is very kakkoii

Yes, like baby_pixie said, it's prounounced like June because it's actually Jyun [‚¶‚ã‚ñ] when spelt in Japanese.

@Shibien: I have a masaki-cover on my mobile and showed him to different ppl (my cousins, friends and so on) and exept for 1 person everyone thought that masaki-chan was a girl :sweat: I seem to like those men with a girly touch (just look at early Gacchan pix, sorry ai-chan :sweat: )

for those of you fans who has heard the one album from dls or online, i would urge you guys to buy it if you're happy with the 'sampling'.
it's sold on a couple of websites actually.
as an overseas fan, i feel that this is the only way that we can show our support and appreciation, coz although we love them to death and dl all their shows, pics, etc, we don't count at all in any of their show/popularity ratings unfortunately.

Seeing that a lot of you have written down your first thoughts about Arashi, Here were mine:

Jun: My favourite (the reason why I got into Arashi anyway) Has really good looks and can dance amazingly. I loved his long hair. He always came across very mature too.

Sho: Good looking. I thought he was the leader 'cos he just seemed to have the most in the songs...and as he was the only one that raps, he seemed to take the spotlight the most.

Aiba: I thought he was quite ugly to begin with. The more Girly-Boy.

Ohno: Very Simple, normal type of person. Didn't really stand-out. (I was really surprised to find out he was the leader.)

Nino: Lovely Voice. Quite Cool, and laid-back. Very cute. (I always thought he was the youngest .lol.)

Well, now my views have changed a lot. But Jun is still my favourite by far. Although, I really do love Nino's voice too.

how i got into arashi & first impressions ^^

i was actually introduced to Arashi through Mukodono! ^^;; i found out that Aiba was part of a group called Arashi and went looking for PV's to see what that was like since i wasn't really familiar with jpop boy bands. the first thing i dl'ed was Sakura Sake and it was a little strange to me with all of the marching clones xD first impressions:

Aiba: cute, but not my type. not impressed with his acting in Mukodono!

Matsujun: i have a penchant for flippy hair, but his hair was too long and i didn't like his chipmunky squeaking xD

Ohno: love this boy's voice! and the fact that he had kinda chubby round cheeks really intrigued me ^^

Sho: wow, he really raps hard... kinda cute ^^

Nino: ugh, hate his hair...

then we watched Kimi wa Petto and we fell in love with Matsujun... started dl'ing Arashi stuff like crazy... my sister stayed in love with Matsujun while i migrated to Sho ^^ my impressions now:

Ohno: love his voice and his dance moves ^^ he has a really great mix of being absolutely nutty and also very serious. he's often off in his own world though... he works very hard and is very sweetly affectionate with the other members, and i love that ^^

Sho: the fact that he's a smarty is really appealing to me ^^ the boys i'm interested in are usually pretty smart, i like to be able to have intellectual conversations with my boys, hee hee ^^;; plus he's such a sweetie, very observant of other people, polite, more mellow than the rest of Arashi sometimes, but still gets affected by the rest of the group ^^ even though Ohno's dancing is better technically, i like Sho's style better (Nice na Kokoro Iki) ^^

Aiba: this boy is such a little freak xD he's always skreeking about something, and his energy level is higher than anyone in Arashi... it's amazing how much adrenaline this boy has, no wonder he's sick all the time! such a cutie though, and inadvertantly hilarious ^^

Nino: adorable little boy... i would not be able to date him in real life though, too spoiled. you can tell that he was spoiled as a child, he's probably the only child or the youngest, or the only boy. he doesn't seem to be as polite as the rest of Arashi and is the most petulant of the group ^^;;

Matsujun: still such a heartbreaker ^^ he seems to be trying to change his image a lot and kinda discover who his public persona is. he also seems to kind of waver between being completely self-confident to the point of seeming arrogant, to being self-effacing.

overall, i have a really hard time ranking the boys, except for Sho ^^ they're all so cute in their own ways ^^ it's honestly the first time that i've had so much trouble deciding which ones i liked more xD

yey.. still the same topic.. first impressions of the boys..

jun: really handsome as sawada shin ( i think i said before that i fell for him there! :dancing: )

nino: cute dork (in a good way) in stand up!

aiba, ohno, sho: no idea who they were... :bonk:

jun: so grown up!!! though i didn't like him with polished nails... :grumble:

nino: still cute... and really EVIL!!! but, he's so adorable.. he doesn't seem to grow old...

sho: wow... really gorgeous! and really smart...

aiba: really really baka... and so so so cute!!! currently, he's my fave... i'm just hooked at his craziness!!!

O no Arashi = Oh-chan's art;
A no Arashi = Aiba-chan's experiments
Ni no Arashi = Nino's pranks

M no Arashi is where they make Jun do unpleasant thing until he say Mendokusei which means tiresome/pain in the pain.
T no Arashi is where Sho shows a bunch of pics to the other and have them guess what they are about - boring and i think it has officially no longer being done

Visit Onigeek's site, they might still have Ni, O and M no arashi up hopefully

Wow, I never would have thought of that (I'm the youngest :sweat:)! But I researched it and it totally fits!!! Nino only has an older sister, so maybe he got a lot more leeway when he was younger. *wonders if it's the same for herself... :sweat:*
