AzioTV (the company that runs the Awards) says that they had shown interest to JE very early, in hope that members from the highly popular Arashi would be able to be presenters. In the end, JE is sending over Jun, who has never been to Taiwan (but has said he really wants to), to fulfil his wish and come close to Taiwanese fans.

Besides presenting an Award at the ceremoney, Jun reportedly also has another important responsibility, and that is to 'investigate' Arashi coming to Taiwan for concerts. Ever since Tackey&Tsubasa's concerts in 2002, it has been a while since a Johnny's group has come to Taiwan for concerts. After the opening of Taipei's 'Little' Dome (LOL like Tokyo Dome, but it has 'little' in front of it XD), JE has planned to make Arashi the first group to come in 4 years. At the moment they are finding sponsors, and they hope to have 3 shows.

ok my two cents about picking junjun to go taiwan: he's the best choice, i mean if u seriously think about it, jun's the one with the ideas about how the arashi concerts should be done, the stage setting etc. He came up with the idea of the moving stage for the ONE concert, remember? I can just imagine him standing in the middle of little dome(?) and visualising where the stage should be, how to interact with the audience etc. Having done so many arashi concerts, he probably can 'feel' if the place is right.

but i'm a bit worried for him. Weren't there taiwan fans who dont like coughhatecough the jap version of hana yori dango and claim that their taiwan version is better? O.o will jun be in danger?? :banghead: lol i'm looking too much into it...

on a lighter note, i would pay money to see a clip of him in taiwan talking in mandarin eg ordering his dinner. Wo Xiang Chi~ Wo Xiang Chi~ XD

ok, admittedly i liked F4 (Taiwan) coz of METEOR GARDEN but i don't think that takes away the right of Japan to do their own version. besides, it's originally from Japan isn't it (the anime)? :victory:

i've been to taiwan before! the accomodation, food etc is cheaper there compared to japan and you can buy almost all the jap stuff there bcos of the close proximity of japan and taiwan! i remember it's just a 2 hour flight from japan to taiwan :woot: the only problem is that most of the taiwanese are not fluent in english, and everything is in traditional chinese and not the simplified chinese we learn in s'pore :sweat:
