He wanted school drama. Those 2 are more in the category of ero-horror (horrible story done horribly). :beatyou:

Im recommending Umizaru today for anyone who wants to see a great action series. The diving scenes are very cool! :victory:

Great choicees by Tu, and thtl BTW, Love Generation. :muack:
Another add to the classic drama list is Say You Love Me with Tokiwa Takako. An early deaf drama. She is stunning in that one! And it is sooooo romantic! :applaud:

Hello,
looking for some suggestions on comedies. It doesnt really matter what the setting is or if there is also another element (romance, school, work, etc). Im pretty new to JDramas and have been cruising through parts of the top 50. I am in need of something that isnt depressing! :) I think the funniest ones I have seen so far are Gokusen and Densha Otoko.

yes at first glance it does appear that way but as you get more familiar with the genre you will disabuse yourself of that notion.....although many of the most popular doramas star Kimura Takuya, to be sure.

Well.....Triky himself doesn't seem to feel that KimuTaku is fit for the role he's playing as, but the drama overall is rather good in my opinion. The cast was good and it wasn't boring.
