i'm not really into deep sad stories, i'm more into the type of stories with a weak/shy/awkward guy that after many problems ends up with the girl.

Just joined in today. How are you all?

I love Japanese series..... I have watched Orange Days, Summer Snow, GTO and Young Father (Yanpapa). They are all good....., summer snow is a bit sad (but still good, really like natsuo).

Does anyone know any other series like orange days and yanpapa?

im currently looking for romantic-comedy type jdrama series. I'm quite a new fan of jdramas and have only seen two jdramas so far(Gokusen and Nanisama). Any suggestions what should I watch next?? I'm looking for nanisama-like dramas (though gokusen was very good, i was a bit frustrated that their is no real love story in it) in which the female character has a tough personality but has hidden weak spot. Pls suggest if you know any..

Hmmm......romantic-comedy you say, and focusing on the romance of the characters. I recommend Dekichatta Kekkon (Shotgun Marriage) :thumbsup: . This drama really fits that genre.

I'd say Last Christmas, GTO, Hero are all pretty good. Even Trick to an extent (if you like disproving "supernatural" occurrences)

i liked gto, gokusen1&2, pride. and the newer ones, hana yori and nobuta.
