Are there any dramas thats like Hana Yori Dango or the korean drama Goong (princess hours)? These are my two favourite dramas and really want to see more dramas like them.

Than watch Devil beside You. It's a chinese drama and it's a little like HYD. You'll like it, it's really great.

K.T.Tran, I just finished watching episode 1 for both Orange Days and Hana yori dango. To tell ya the truth I did not really like Orange Days(guess is not my style, also the lead actress attitude is soo....) As for Hana yori dango, haha I am loving it. It's like SOOOO FAKE, but is almost a comedy relief/action drama(I mean the school system sounds sooo fake) and ahhh THAT PUNCH WAS LOVELY.

I am going to download Pride see how that one goes.

Thanks a bunch for letting me know about Hana yori dango, if it continues as good as it started or gets better is going to be lovely.

Note: Either thats some amazing camera trick, or are like all the girls in Hana Yori Dango like super hot/cute? The main actor(leader of the F4) looks like a total girl... like he needs to grow some you know what...

No problem.
For me, Orange Days is one where if you make continue to watch it, it continues to get better and better. Yea, some people didn't like Sae, but I loved her. I liked her character a lot. If you watch the drama for the story and watch how the characters interact with one another, it might help you get through ep 2 and you might start to like it.

HYD stays strong throughout mainly because the drama took all the biggest parts of the Manga from vol 1-like 12 and put it into the drama, though some parts of it they changed.... :sweat:

I'm not a Jun fan, but this is one of his better acting in a drama.

i agree, sae is flawed but understandably so....to have a nearly lifelong disability and continue to act like an angel would have been embarassingly fake and lame.....the range displayed by kou shibasaki as sae is absolutely amazing and places her in the top ranks of female celebrities

i really loved Sae for displaying the fraility and vulnerablity of the human condition.

thanks, kohai...to think badly of someone with a nearly lifelong disability, must require a re-examination.

can you imagine being an excellent violinist, a worldclass one, and losing that defining characteristic of who you are to disability?
