Maybe. My friend told me that whenever someone from NorCal visits, it always ends up raining. So if you're supersititous, then yes, it was my fault. :hehe:

Must be a lotta NorCal people visiting SoCal this season, considering we've gotten 33+ inches of rain here... The third highest in SoCal history with several months more to go...

Maybe it's good that it rains in SoCal when someone from Northern California comes down...it eases the water "stealing" problem....

:fingerscrossed:

Ouch.

:hehe:

Santa Rosa? That's Charles Schulz's home, neh? :)

Phew, I thought I was going to get smacked around like last time I made a comment like that to a SoCaler :beaten:.

Yeah, Santa Rosa was Charles Schultz's home. I actually live about three minutes away from the Schultz museum, although I've never been inside.

Actually, I wish I was about 50 miles south. Santa Rosa used to be a good place to live...but now even the drivers are worse here than in San Francisco.... :shakehead:

Of course, last time I was in Southern California, the weather almost killed me. I was coming up over the mountains on the freeway and it started hailing. Then this truck skidded out and hit the barrier and came back out onto my lane. I wonder if that had anything to do with me being from North Cal? :headscratch:

Nahhh. It's all good.

That's so typical of someone to not explore stuff in their own backyard... I think most of us are guilty of that.

Could be worse: New York City. *ducks from a barrage of thrown items*

:hehe: Yep...although Santa Rosa's kind of a cultural wasteland ::drink::. Okay...we've got Charles Schultz...Luther Burbank...the Santa Rosa symphony...Santa Rosa Junior College...lots of vineyards and wine, and a whole boatload of gallon hat yee-haws. The most interaction I get with Asian-Americans or Japanese is when I'm at the Junior College or at Sonoma State University.

 I've never been their, but I've seen pictures :D. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

26 Feb 2005, 13:28 #1279
Well...when I got hailed on it was in the mountains.... I do remember it hailing really hard when I went to Disneyland a long time ago.
