Higuchi Ichiyo. I downloaded the program that aired in Hawaii, so I guess they are finally bringing it here.

Oh yeah, Higuchi Natsu...I only passed over her name in favor of Ito Noe and Kanno Sugako. Sounds interesting...I'll try to watch it. Thanks dochira :).

I think it was just one episode long. It seems to be 1 1/2 hours long, based on the file I have.

awww really? i wish a drama with her in it would come out soon.... :fingerscrossed: i think she's such a wonderful actress!

that is short for a drama. think bus stop was 10 or more episodes, more rina! :bonk:

Could you be talking about this movie?

Its 91 mins long and its a drama... so sounds like its what you're talking about... ;)

Found this article (http://bb.watch.impress.co.jp/cda/news/4279.html) which covers a press conference for the movie. Lots of Japanese text but we get a couple of new-ish pictures of Rina for all that effort. :D

No that's not the movie. It's called "Higuchi Ichiyo Monogatari." However the movie you point to looks very interesting and I will probably go out and try to get a copy somewhere. Perhaps YesAsia will have it.

Oh, and that's a very nice pic of Rina. Thanks for sharing. :woot:

Yup. To be honest, I think she's prettier than the more popular Aya-chan. *puts on hard hat and flak jacket*

No problem, everyone's entitled to their opinion. Although since I don't believe in absolutes when it comes to this sort of thing, it's all in the eye of the beholder.

Yup yup, I totally agree! I think they are pretty in a different sort of way and their acting styles are both different, so yeah, it's all different opinion! It's like when you choose your boyfriend/girlfriend, sorta anyway, because while you might like Person A, your friend might not and like Person B and you don't....lol does it make sense?

and that was a lovely picture! she looks so graceful and kawaii!

Yeah, but I had to put in that little disclaimer, else I'd get flamed or worse...
