okae, it's fine that you can't tell what the gender is for various names... but, have you heard of a guy named lisa? i think it's pretty rare. -_-x
but, okae. aCk. :P :google:
I can tell a gender by a name, generally speaking. It's those "fancy" guys who use girlish names that throw me off. I just learned not to assume a gender as I've pissed off a lot of people before. This is the first time I'm getting burnt by someone who found it offensive that I did not assume her gender by her username.
For all I could've known, you could've been a "mahu" (faggot) who chose that name because that is the name he wants after his sex change.
Or, you could've been a guy who (psfhh, for example, I guess) is infatuated with his girlfriend, or a girl he likes, and decides to use her name. Thinking it would be cool or something.
There are a lot of whackos out there who do these kind of things. I'm not in any place to be assuming what gender they are. And it's a good thing. When I first came on the forum, I made many mistakes by addressing someone by the wrong gender by
assuming!
I know you're a girl now. So what's the big deal already?
