Haven't listened to Momusu since the splendid song Do it! now. Absolutely the best from them! the PV is splendid and the tune too! Prolly the most mature themed PV from Momusu compared to their previous childlish PVs. Momusu is at lost since Maki left the group.
Do it! now was out 2 years, time sure flies. I still haven't watched the 2002 Summer concert. As for the current Momusu, I have no idea.

*currently watchin Love Revolution 21 PV*

Btw Gotta fancy Maki's renowned nose

Tanpopo - sub group, maybe dead, haven't released anything for awhile.
Pucchi Moni- sub group, maybe dead, haven't released anything for awhile.
Gomattou - The soloist group (oxymoron?), Goto Maki, Matsuura Aya and Fujimoto Miki. Maybe dead, only one single and nothing for a quite a while.
Aa! - A couple of H!P kids lead by momusu's Tanaka Reina
ZYX - More H!P kids lead by momusu's Yaguchi Mari

Point 1 - Subgroups are never dead because they're a part of Morning Musume. Tanpopo and Pucchimoni have been inactive over the past year but there will still be future releases unless Tsunku goes crazy and announces that the subgroups are shut down for good :D

Tanpopo
1st generation - Mari Yaguchi, Kaori Iida, Aya Ishiguro.
2nd generation - Mari Yaguchi, Kaori Iida, Rika Ishikawa, Ai Kago.
3rd generation - Rika Ishikawa, Asami Konno, Risa Niigaki, Ayumi Shibata.

Pucchimoni
1st generation - Maki Goto, Kei Yasuda, Sayaka Ichii.
2nd generation - Maki Goto, Kei Yasuda, Hitomi Yoshizawa.
3rd generation - Hitomi Yoshizawa, Makoto Ogawa, Ayaka Kimura.

-------------

Point 2 - Gomattou functions as a "step ground" for Aya, Miki and Maki's fresh solo career (at that time). Tsunku uses the "Gomattou" bit to promote Aya's 2nd album, Miki's 1st album and Maki's 1st album.

-------------

Point 3 - Here's the member list for Aa! and ZYX:

(Aa!) Reina Tanaka, Airi Suzuki, Miyabi Natsuyaki.
(ZYX) Mari Yaguchi, Erika Umeda, Momoko Tsugunaga, Saki Shimizu, Maimi Yajima, Megumi Murakami.

And you forgot ROMANS (a sexy-imaged new group based on "Sexy Onna Jyuuku") - Mari Yaguchi, Rika Ishikawa, Mai Satoda, Ayaka Kimura, Hitomi Saito.

ruroshin wrote:Soloist:
Goto Maki
Fujimoto Miki
Matsuura Aya
Nakazawa Yuko
Maeda Yuki
Inaba Atsuko - Not sure if she is actually soloist, never heard a single from her but she is not in any group.

Just to update on the list :P

The graduated HP soloists:
- Michiyo Heike (now making a comeback outsdie of HP)
- Rika Ishii
- Chinatsu Miyoshi

ruroshin wrote:There's also a new girl that joined this year but her name escapes me at the moment. Currently hasn't made a debut yet.

Her name is Erika Miyoshi.

ruroshin wrote:Doesn't include all the past groups of course and I don't know the name of any of the H!P kids.

The Hello Kids are:
- Mai Hagiwara
- Yurina Kumai
- Maiha Ishimura
- Saki Nakajima
- Miyabi Natsuyaki
- Chisato Okai
- Saki Shimizu
- Maasa Sudo
- Risako Sugaya
- Airi Suzuki
- Chinami Tokunaga
- Maimi Yajima
- Momoko Tsugunaga
- Megumi Murakami

Info on HP-related people

- Asami Abe (Acchi)
Relation: Purely because she is Nacchi's younger sister. Acchi is a solo singer under the label Sony Records.

- EE Jump & Sonin
Relation: Sonin is not under HP but is produced by Tsunku. EE Jump, initially comprising of Sonin and Yuuki Goto (Maki's little brother), has now broken up for good and Sonin became a soloist.

- Sayaka Ichii in Cubic Cross
Relation: The band name says it all.

Maeda Yuki:

<the rest is too small to read clearly>

Yasuda Kei:
2004 - Anyway, I want my January play to be bigger! I want to meet more people in my work, and in my private life.

Coconuts Musume:
Coconuts Musume's goals for 2004 are...
Ayaka - I want to be bright, cheerful, and kind! I think I'll make that my theme! I'll do my best! (^_^)

Matsura Aya:
My goals for 2004 are -
Work - I want to be someone like you haven't seen on the news. I want to surprise everybody.
Private life - I want my mother to teach me how to make meat and potato stew. I want to be able to make that. I'll try to give it a good flavour.
So everyone please continue to support me in 2004.

Country Musume:
Satoda Mai - Next year I'm going to get stronger!
Asami - I want to do a lot of sports next year...
Miuna - 2004. I'm going to try and make candy! I'll do my best!

Melon Kinenbi:
We want our second album to be released!
And a nationwide tour!
(It'll be a great tour for people of all ages!)

That's a screencap from the MM pv "Mr Moonlight ~Ai no Big Band~" where Yossi dresses up like a guy
