maybe it's one big coincidence?

I mean like, some of it was bound to happen. Maki was way popular when she joined and it was logical for her to go solo. Same goes for Nacchi as well. Kei leaving was a bit of surprise to me, since I thought she would have a brighter future as a MM member. Kaori has been there for a while now so maybe her graduation was more of a image move to keep the group young?

I didn't like her much back then, she looked too indifferent about certain things and doesn't smile a lot. But I'm okay with her now. Just that she's not one of my VERY favorites.

Natsumi
A favorite. Sweet, but I don't really pay much attention to her after her graduation. Still, my favorite Gen 1 member.

Aya
Nothing much to say. Just glad she's happy with her married life. I don't really like her face though.

Asuka
Graduated even before I got to like Morning Musume. Well, when I first heard of Morning Coffee I wasn't hooked on MM then.

Yuko
I like her better as a solo singer. She's grown so much now =)

Mari
Oh, this fun little thing! One of my hot favorites ever! Bold, vivacious and loud. You go, girl!

Kei
Nothing much to say too. She doesn't have the best voice I know of, even though she can dance quite well. Just not interesting enough.

Sayaka
Another darling. But I like her better in Cubic Cross.

Maki
Ahhh............ the reason why I started to like MM. The natural beauty, even when she's still a 5-year-old kid. The girl who supposedly brought MM to its first million-single record. The magogyaru newbie who looked like a 17-year-old at age 13. One of MM's best.

Rika
My favorite Rika moment is during 'The Peace' period. The rest just doesn't cut as much victory ribbons in my book.

Hitomi
Love her! A neutral favorite, but has ALWAYS been a favorite. NEVER felt annoyed at her or dislike her for any reason! Even with her crazy blond hair which doesn't fit her much now =P

Ai Kago
Like her. I used to think she looked kinda goofy last time, but now those goofy looks just appear kewt to me. hehe.

Nozomi
Ditto with Kago's compliment.

Ai Takahashi
A hot favorite. One of MM's best for the recent generation. She can sing, dance, and is pretty. Definitely a hot success. She ought to be a rock star, IMO!

Asami
Quiet. Serene. Intelligent. Strong. I love Konno!

Makoto
Dunno. Just neutral towards her, I guess.

Risa
Love her esp during 'Sakura Mankai'. IMO, she'd do better with a ruggish image.

Miki
Why do I hate Miki? For creating a media controversy, that's why.
Why do I LOVE Miki? For creating a media controversy, THAT'S WHY!
Miki has a style of her own. I love her better as a soloist. In MM, her talent and style just doesn't fit.

Eri
My favorite Gen 6 member!!!!!!!! I can't live without the famous Kamei smile!

Reina
I like her voice. She has attitude. She obviously has talent. She's also the prettiest in Gen 6, IMO. But as much as I love her, there are times when she annoys me. Just like there are times Rika annoys me. Or Kaori. Or Kei. Or the twins. But overall she's a favorite. I'm glad she doesn't hog the spotlight that much now.

I'm not all too familar with the 1st gen members since I wasn't a fan back then but I will comment on the girls that I know well enough to...

I think she's cool. She always stood out though being the tallest one by a lot! She's really pretty but to me it seemed like she was maybe more of a care taker to the rest of the younger girls?

At first I didn't like her much but she has really grown on me. She's like the life of the group now! yea go Mari!

To be honest, I didn't like her when I first started listening and I didn't like her much either when she left. I just thought of her as obnoxious, sorry, I don't want to offend anyone here, just my 2 cents :sweat:

Yea Maki is the best! I'm so sad she left. MM has not been the same without her. I wish she would come back and do 1 more single with them!

Rika is so pretty! I wish they would put her as the girl in the middle more often. A bit sad that she's leaving though, well still a whole year.

I would prefer it if she was solo but w/o Maki and Nacchi, they need another big name to fill the void and that's why I think Miki is a member. Hec maybe they should borrow Aya Matsuura! She would be a better fit than Miki.

actually.. she did try out for MM. whereas Ayaya didn't. another thing is Miki had trouble with keeping her voice in good shape for the duration of one entire full concert.. and she was placed into groups including MM so that she can still be active while she improves. and then she will get her solo back. (something like that..)

Yea I know, but I just find it a bit weird that Miki was not good enough to be a Mo-Musu but good enough to go solo and then now they throw her back in. If they really wanted some punch to the line up then Ayaya would have been my choice but then again Ayaya would sell much better as a solo-ist rather than Miki selling as a solo-ist.

I was watching Friday's Lover and one of the actress was singing some lines from Love Machine. :D

In Waterboys they used Koi no Dance Site as one of the songs they perform to. Otousan had the actresses karaoke-ing to Happy Summer Wedding. Morning Musume is everywhere :twisted:
