you should buy crescent as thats awsome and his best after Mars.
oh the opening track on mars is superb, ares, and the song after it....my god that song still sends shivers down my spine. love the contrast between the calm beauty of ares to the awsome bowiesque rock of asrum dream.

I hadn't heard of Gackt until last year.

Asrun Dream...yeah, it does follow on well to Ares. I think I might have jumped the first time listened to Mars, what with the sudden loudness after the first track.
Just looking at the traclklisting of Crescent - I didn't know Kimi ga matteiru kara was on anything other than the Metamorphoze cd!

How do you find getting Gackt cds, being in the UK? I'm in England, and it can be quite a job. I tend to buy from Japanese sellers on ebay, as they can be relied on to have official discs, and not one of the many pirates floating around.

@ Tainted - oh yeah, I remember I have seen this character before. Oops. And I agree it does kinda look like Vanilla Gackt. :applaud:

@ Anyone - has this site already been posted in this thread? I really like it for providing romaji lyrics, and translations -

I think CDJapan is the most cheap way

Nubs_Cooper and Gackta - I've dealt with YesAsia on ebay. I do like them, as they pack stuff well, and their discs are sure to be perfect.
But their costs can be quite a bit more than winning an item on someone's auction.

Cdjapan - I'm fairly sure I've looked at them and they seemed pretty expensive to me! (In particular the postage costs - eek).

oh, really?
I created an account in yesasia to check the costs
Returner ~yami no shueen~ + DVD $18.99 and the shipping to my country (Chile) in standard service US$10.98, total US$29.97
In CDJapan I had to pay US$26 (Single + DVD US$14 and the shipping US$12)
The stuff's pack is always exelent.

my single should arrive today but the mailman has not visit to me yet :puppydog:

Oh wow, no habia caido de cuenta de que eras de Chile hehe
Vives alla verdad? Donde aprendistes el Ingles? Yo Naci y creci alla en Puerto Rico y despues fue que vine a los estados unidos.

About the cd's though, it seems like those are really good prices.
Japanese CD's even in Japan are pretty expensive. My friend told me the prices for cd's here (new york) are super cheap compared to Japan. (to think I complain about prices hehehe)

Sorry for the double post but I didn't want to mix this post with my previous.

Here is my updated list of Gackt Top 5 songs so far from what I have heard
(1 being the absolute favorite)
1)Mizerable
2)Secret Garden
3)Returner
4)Vanilla
5)Redemption

Note: was hard to decide between 1 and 2 X_X.

En el colegio...
ademas estuve estudiando ingles este semestre. Que bueno encontrar a un hispanoparlante que tambien le guste Gackt!

Maybe I'm wrong but Tofu Records is an American company who sales Japanese discs in USA, they should have the most cheap prices, I think ^^

But on to the topic before mods go nuts or anything hehe!

Tomorrow I'm going to be removing the Gackt tracks I have uploaded, so if anyone wants them, download them now!

Can you guys please stick to speaking English? If you want to have a private conversation, please use the PM system. Thanky! :D

I imagine it blows now knowing what we saying but rest assure is nothing wrong (more of informative actually). I have read Jdoramas guidelines very well and there is not rule against this. Only thing even close or related is
"The thread subject/title MUST be in English. No double-byte chracters, Japanese, Chinese, Traditional Chinese or any other unicodes."

So my suggestion as a former administrator of a huge site, make your guidelines and rules huge to cover basic aspects of everyday posting, which includes diversity of language.

However, since I don't like to make much drama, I will refrain from posting in other languages other than English (while I must say I've seen many other post before in Japanese etc.) and to prevent you a headache as you sound like a depressed person from the post I have read of yours. :victory: (Note: Just my 2 cent analysis as a medical student) So cheer up a bit and don't find so much fault in little things, as they say we are humans after all.

Sugoi! This post musta taken you some effort!

Hmm. It doesn't blow particularily, since I don't post in this thread on a daily basis, nor do I post in threads where another language is designated. I was thinking more for other people who may wish to benefit from what you all are saying. If you don't care, than no harm done.

So my suggestion as a former administrator of a huge site....

That makes two of us! We should compare notes.

O I'm sorry! I wasn't aware that I had accused you of breaking the Posting Guidelines. That must have been my habit of posting invisible words that only you can read.

Ya know, I've been wondering about my depression! When I have fun enjoying my Friday off, I get positively suicidal! I don't know why I love my job and posting here and having a good time. I must be completely deranged. I should crack open my Psychology books from when I was a student and perhaps we can compare notes here as well.

I might find something about your need to belittle someone when you feel reprimended. Not cool. I was thinking of the other members reading this thread, but like I said, if you don't want to speak English, so be it.

So cheer up a bit and don't find so much fault in little things, as they say we are humans after all.

Sorry if you felt flattered that I sit here and trace everyone's post so that I can pick out the flaws. I just stumbled here to read Keps post and noticed that I didn't understand the pervious posts. No need to get your pants in a rut.

Okay, now that everyone has vented, please get back on topic.

Any further continuation will result in the locking of this thread for an indeterminate amount of time.

And in regards to the language of this forum, it's English, except in those few threads for natives of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philipines, etc... I suppose the implication of English isn't good enough, so I'll have to update the Posting Guidelines to reflect this. :grumble:

Wynter wrote:Sugoi! This post musta taken you some effort!

Not sure what you were implying there, as I don't have a problem speaking my mind, and takes no effort at all. (If you were referring to me writing the post in English, then that's just sordid of your part and truly hope that's not what you meant).

I truly love the sarcastic nature and intent of your reply, so if you want to share/compare notes what you say we continue this over PM's.

*That now concludes this segment of "Arguing In The Internet Is Like The Special Olympics."

My apologies to anyone who was offended by my post be it in English or Spanish. Rest assure that was never my or Gackt's intention.

Note: No cybernetic animals were harmed during the making of this post.

Now to further this thread and hopefully prevent any further issues.
Any of you guys have/know a site with all of Gackt's Lyrics and Translations, Thanks! :victory:

At the risk of having this thread locked, I want to clarify that as an Educator, and as an individual with strong morals, I would NEVER insult someone's ability to speak English if it's their second language. I'm disappointed in myself for not having made this clear about myself during my time here. Please discontinue your pessimistic assumptions.

Thanks. lol I just fed off your energy. Comparing notes would be awesome. I await your PM. :)

My apologies to anyone who was offended by my post be it in English or Spanish.
