is it only me....or does she seem a lot cuter in the second pic??? Maybe its just me and thinking girls are cuter with the shorter hair :sweat:

nice signature pix of Aya-chan, there seems to a lot on here thesedays, did i tell you when i was in Nakano, Japan, i got some J-idol collectible cards(kind of like baseball cards but they are J-idol ones), I have a few of Aya that i bought, didn't get Rena though, didn't have time to look for hers.

@zchen, i will try to post some rena pix later, haven't been able to find anything new on her, did you have any luck? :bonk:

Whoa, thats cool. Is the price kind of like those baseball cards here? or they sell it differently in Japan, like not in packs??? Now I really gotta go Japan and find me stuff on Aya, Rena, and Rina :victory: and try to look for Ryoko stuff too, BMW will be happy bout that :hehe:

well, if you go, i can tell you where to look. I bought a book, online, also saw it at the LA Kinokuniya store, book is called, "Cruising the anime city", An otaku guide to neo tokyo", i recommend you get the book before going to japan, tons of info and maps on good stores for j-anime and j-idol stores. In Nakano you will find some good j-idol stuff, and i mean lots, besides anime, figurines and other endless stuff, not to mention you could spend a week in Akihabara just browsing and shopping, no joke, it is a mecca for all things j-idol/anime!!
The j-idol collectible cards, range from..... 30 cents to as high as near $70 or over for one card. They sell them individually or in packs. I preselected some from photo-albums per j-idol, it took me over an hour to browse some. Some of which are Misako Yasuda, Mayuko Iwasa, Sayuri Anzu, Azusa Yamamoto, Chinatsu Wakatsuki, i think you get the idea, oh not to forgot I found in another j-idol card collectible store, some of Aya-chan at 30 cent to $1 each, i didn't buy that much of her. I bought a pack of (seven cards) of Chinatsu at 700 yen, ouch!, but i had to get it.
Basically these collectible cards are found weekly in various manga books they sell in Japan, and they come in one or two of various idols, depending on who is on the cover for that week's manga. You can buy the entire boxed set, i saw one on Chinatsu for 9800 yen, and one on Misako for 6300 yen, why the price difference? i have no idea. They were sold out of the Misako, but the guy behind the counter gave me the empty picture box of cute Misako for free. When i get a scanner, i'll try scanning some j-cards. :bonk:
