the last two years, I got my J-idol calendars from Kinokuniya. @KT, you might try SJ kino. in the month of October/November, and keep checking. I ordered my Kyoko Fukada calendar in 2004, and i paid for it when it eventually came in, 6 or 7 weeks later. The thing is, once you order it, you have to pay for it, and cannot back out, but i wasn't going to back out. You can ask them if that particular J-idol, in your case Aya-chan, if they are going to receive any Aya calendars for '06. If they are popular, and she is, she will probably come out with a calendar and they will get some in, my guess oct/nov. Keep checking in, starting late aug/sep/oct, and nov. They will start coming in. expect to pay around $22 - $28 for a j-idol calendar. Or you can order it online. good luck, this year, i want NANA's calendar :smitten:

the rena mag is not that recent, maybe may '05. I saw it at Bookoff bookstore in OC, I believe they don't have it in the Bay Area, it is a used bookstore that sell j-books/mag/music/dvd/manga for cheaper prices, not all there stuff is used, some are new. They also buy mags and other stuff from people. I saw it on the rack, but didn't buy it, forgot the name if the mag she was on, but she had long hair and Zchen would've loved it.
"drugstore girl", that was the name of it, watched it all, but didn't understand any of it, except a few japanese words that i am familiar with.
