Ahh... Ayumi Hamasaki! I love that singer.
I think I believe it was April of 2001 when I first listened to her CDs. It was given to me as a birthday present from a friend in Japan. She was nice enough to hand me one though I never requested it, but since she was kind enough, I started listening to her music, and ever since then, I loved her songs, and her rocking styles. Plus, she's cute to boot. ^_^
But nonetheless, I now have almost all her CDs, from LOVEppears, A Song For XX, I am..., and Memorial Address - to the newest CD she just released, My Story.
I love her new rock approach from "About You" which is the second track off her CD, and I've been playing it for a long time ever since.
I think I believe it was April of 2001 when I first listened to her CDs. It was given to me as a birthday present from a friend in Japan. She was nice enough to hand me one though I never requested it, but since she was kind enough, I started listening to her music, and ever since then, I loved her songs, and her rocking styles. Plus, she's cute to boot. ^_^

Ayu is the coolest jpop artiste around. She is totally queen of JPOP. I am :crazy: about her! I started to like her late. It was last year when i recieved No way to Say for a present. I was her fan ever since. She was my start to Jpop. Her newest album My Story is so great! I really like About You! Ayu rulZ! :woot:
Does anyone know if the girl band in the Because of You video from the memorial address album is a for real band? Or are they just some dancers hired for the video?
Has anyone else heard Ayumi's new "MY STORY Classical" yet?
I too thought, "Great, yet another bland album that rehashes what she's already done just to get more money!" but the "MY STORY Classical" album I previewed is stunningly grand!
It's almost a shame that it wasn't included as a double disc with the original release, or that it wasn't released first! The orchestra is absolutely amazing, and Ayu's voice rings out much clearer than the MY STORY album version tracks.
This will probably be the first and last time in my Ayu fandom that I'd actually purchase the original and the "remake" follow-up album, haha. :shocked:
