Cast: Fukuyama Masaharu, Shibasaki Kou

Synopsis: Tantei Galileo is based on the short novel by Naoki Prize winner Higashino Keigo, Fukuyama Masaharu plays a genius physicist and university associate professor, Yukawa Manabu, who solves difficult mysteries. Affectionately known as Tantei Galileo, Yukawa is brilliant, an all-round sportsman, tall and handsome but eccentric. Yukawa's partner is a rookie cop, Utsumi Kaoru played by Shibasaki Kou. She is hot-blooded and has a strong sense of justice.

I saw an old episode from earlier this year with Shibasaki Kou and Tsumabuki Satoshi as guests on Bistro Smap...I gotta say they make a good couple.

Let's hope the power of Stephen Chow will make this one an international release so we can see kou in theaters.

On November 14, 2007 (noon, Japan time) Kou Shibasaki will appear on YAHOO LIVE TALK! with Erika Sawajiri, Takako Tokiwa, Keiko Kitagawa and Miki Nakatani to promote the newest Kanebo line COFFRET D'OR!

Just finished watching this...amazing...all that star power on one stage...Keiko was cute and charming and held her own ...Sawajiri was all sweetness and smiles, the total opposite from her meltdown...Kou Shibasaki, Takako Tokiwa, and Miki Nakatani looked truly beautiful...it was a treat seeing them all...

I just hope Shaolin Girl will bring her to stardom because I think right now she is one of Japan's best actresses around plus she can sing too!

Hihi.. I thought I heard from the local radio that Shibasaki Kou and Tsumabuki Satoshi are getting married?? IS it true?? If so, then it be so wonderful! :) Love this pair.
