L'Arc~en~Ciel

:woot: hi guys its been a while since my last post, i just get back from france (business trip) and now I have a lot of papper work to do. Just glad it's a (poor :shamefulcry:) holiday.
Anyway there's bunch of new guys here, nice to know you guys, and my favourite pv is Flower, it's so mello.
It reminds me of my first Laruku's album which is True, I was in ikebukuro in a record store still thinking that J-music sucks and the cover caught my eyes, I decided to buy it and listened to it. At an instant my opinion to J-music changed, their songs were (and still) great. What about you guys what's your story when you first know them?

hi shinn,the first laruku song i heard is hitomi no jyuunin first time i heard it,it sounds weird but when i heard it for the second time i think it was a great song :mrgreen:

from there i discovered all about laruku and how i surprised when i know that laruku is very popular in japan and all of the world also on my country :applaud:
until now i still a dying fans of laruku :mrgreen:

hi, Shinn! :woot: good to see you back :mrgreen: well my story when i first know them.. hard to tell, back then i heard a lot "L'Arc en Ciel" being mentioned. but all i knew was they are a very popuar japanese band and that's it. then i started to hear them sing somewhere (MTV, i guess). i forgot which song i saw but i remember saying something like "L'Arc en Ciel?? THAT L'arc en Ciel everyone's talking about?" i kept listening and go "man, their song sounds very weird... but the vocalist.. who's the vocalist? he has an incredible voice! :shocked:". that is the moment i started to like Hyde's voice, but not in love with the whole band yet. but really, i admire that voice! :applaud:
and then like years later.. i was keep changing my TV channel to find something i could watch, and at last stopped at MTV.. for this very interesting PV; things were broken and they go mend themselves to their actual form.. (yes, it was hitomi no jyuunin), and i heard this japanese song being played and i was like "hey, wait, i think i know this voice.." then i saw this box appeard, showing me the tittle and the artist's name. i said "L'Arc en Ciel?? ooh, THAT L'Arc en Ciel!"....*listened carefully* "wow, this song's good! i didn't know they have this kind of song..." then i heard Hyde sing the high note and i was like :shocked: "yaiks, he can reach that??". i kept listening to the rest of the song and fell in love with it. the next day, i went to CD store and bought SMILE. yeph, so my first album of their was SMILE. i like ALL of the songs.. and fastly i find myself turned into a fan. and i end up being here, chat about them with you guys! :hehe: funny how we changed.. but it's interesting to look bakc on such things, ne? :mrgreen:

It's my opinion, I only know that hyde work in his solo project the next year (already, this year :sweat: ) but I don't know if together too.

The last year, in these date, I looked for information about other band and always I saw in the webs the name of "L'Arc en Ciel" I thought that his name was very strange for a japanese band and I started to download a few songs of them. I listened the first time "Shallow Sleep" and fell in love with Hyde's voice. I didn't know if they was a boys, or girls, band or singers but I love it! Then I heard Flower, and I dare to say I already was a Laruku-fan :mrgreen:

I have a BIG favor to ask. Does anyone have a close up pic of Tetsu's banana/Mukimpo shirt from Live in USA? I really need a good detailed pic of what the banana looks like on the front. (I have one of the back...)

You see, what I'm planning is to have a custom plush made of Tetsu, and I want him wearing that shirt. (I also hope he will be holding a mini plush of Mukimpo. XD) I already have a custom Hyde plush, and my goal is to eventually have the whole band. So, next is Tetsu! ^o^

If anyone can help me at all, I'd REALLY appreciate it! I've been searching on line for HOURS! I'm going nuts! T_T Thank you!!!

hi sailor wicca did you mean a bannana t shirt that tetsu wear when they perform bluury eyes? if so it looks like the front bannana pic is looks same with the bannana pic on the back (if i not wrong :sweat: )or maybe just the angle of the bannana is different. did you already find it on google or yahoo ? that was a site i ussually use when i search a pic or site :hehe: (sorry if i can't help)

Yes, that's the shirt. But he actually wore it for the entire encore performance after Ready Steady Go. But the front of the shirt IS different. The banana has a face on the front, but no face on the back. There's also text on the front, but I'm not as concerned about that. I basically need a close up to see what the face looks like.....

I've tried googling, and the only pics I can find is the one of him wearing the pink/white shirt from the first part of the concert. None of him in the banana shirt. ;_;

i have live in USA DVD (well, we all do :hehe: ) but i'm so sorry, what i don't have is the way to show you the close up picture :sweat: my computer sucks, it can't play me DVD. if only it can, i can take the screen shot and make it a picture for you to see :banghead: good luck, though, Sailor Wicca! hopefully someone else can help you :mrgreen:

You're welcome! Don't feel bad! I thought tetsu's version was pretty good, but my favorite is ken's...he just sounds so cute and funny when he sings :hehe:
