Yeah, you are very correct about their fans in America. Everyone that I know here that knows anything about them learned of them through Anime or through me. I learned about them through a friend of mine that learned about them through anime as well. It's unfortunate how closed off America is to foreign music, especially foreign music without English lyrics.

Actually this really sucks, in the UK, we get very listen foreign music played, if there is its usually the odd indian track ( bhangra/dnb type thing ).

In real europe, its "cool" to have songs in english like it is in japan, but its a similar situation, 99% of stuff is in native language even here.

If you want to listen to non-english music thats good you really have to look for it :-]

I heard that the Otakon was the concert with the highest attendance ever held by foreign musician in the US. I thought thy were as many as 13,000 ppl attended the concert. I really think that's something despite the fact that they didnt sell quite well. However Im really proud of them for being able to break into the US market and gaining wider recognizion the way they deserve.
About the fanbase thingy, I always wonder whether Laruku ever browse through the internet and take a peek on forums and threads or whatever discussion boards that has their name on and realize just how HUGE they really are. If they do, they should be confident enough to establish an international fanbase to accomodate ALL fans from every corner of the world. Or otherwise, they wouldnt be very happy with the file sharing community

I know, but iLve seen tours or from american artists and some british artist that go to japan and are very popular or at least their records are sold there, try looking for a larc en ciel cd in tower records :sweat:

I listen to Kent who are swedish and most of the things iLve got are in swedish, yet the spanish guy who presented them to me, has most of their material in english :S because that way he understands it :beaten:

I got through them because i met some japanese people in a trip and wanted to know about japanese music in general and once i got into a japanese music chatroom and asked what should i listen to...they were so right :metaldevil:

Yep bought it from kino but it was under a special order. The main stock is not here yet. U can place an order with them, think it will arrive earlier.

I like the 1st few shots too. The rest of it was a little bleah :hehe: There are pics of other stuff like scenery, his hands and inanimate stuff like a basketball. And lots of blur shots. Think the photographer was trying to be artistic but it sucked for us fans. :grumble: Still deciding whether it was worth $30...
