I'm not sure. I have a box of Hydrience, and the side of the box shows a color chart, "your current color and color results." Dark brown to black looks like a very dark red-brown result. You could probably go to Clairol or L'Oreal websites for more information. That's what I would do if I had questions. (clairol.com or loreal.com)

OOhh! I just dloaded the daybreak pv! Another sugoi one from larc! It sort of reminded me of harry potter and the fullmetal alchemist conqueror of shamballa movie (the war part). So totally cool! I love hyde's new chestnut hair too!
Strangely, that girl looks similar to the gal from the previous pv's...but i guess it can't be her.

My natural colour is black as well. I have no luck whatsoever getting it any lighter unless I have it double processed. Even if the box of colour you buy says that you can get an auburnish result with it you still need to get it lightened some first with bleach.
the first thing i saw the pv i was like did hyde dye his hair, after readin all ur posts i was like i need to dye it too~ but parents are strict makin excuses that dying ur hair is bad so, i can only imagine wat i will look like XD

During the performance of Anemone in L'anni, I believe the black haired lady on the screen is a guy!! It's just a personal and sudden realization, the 'lady' has a rather musculine facial structure specially at the jaw area? I'm convinced that the lady is really a dude..
