Rixile!!! Ok, so I have a bit of time on my hands right now while I wait for my boss. Kyaa! Here's the
report...ahehehe!!!! Well, my friends and I (there were 8 of us) arrived in HK at around 9:30pm on May 22. A few of us
have been to HK before, including myself, but the last time I was there was about 7 yrs ago so we kinda got lost a lil
bit and asked around a lot for directions. We got to the apartment at around 12:15, if I remember correctly.
Ok first off, its just too bad that we didn't get our hands on the backstage passes. 3 of us actually had a chance to
meet Laruku, but the thing is, our other friend whose cousin is a friend of the organizer, wasn't able to make it to the
concert due to passport problems. I still get sad when I think about it, so I won't say any more, sigh!
I'll skip to Saturday, 'coz all we did on Friday was pick up the tix and did a bit of sightseeing and some shopping and
getting lost, so there. We also noticed that there weren't any posters or billboards of the band or the concert
anywhere in HK, which is surprising! We even watched out for them on the evening news but they weren't on it! That's
just how the concert organizers sucked, there was practically no promotion at all, oh well! On Saturday, a few of us
headed to the Asiaworld Expo in order to line up for the tour goods. We also met more of our Filipino friends and they
proudly informed us that they saw Laruku at the airport! According to them, Laruku's flight touched down at about 1pm.
Those friends of mine arrived at HK International at 11am so they decided to wait just in case they see Laruku, and
lucky for them, they did! There was actually a big crowd of fans waving banners and screaming for them to come. And
finally, Laruku was there! Their arrival caused a minor stampede, some of my friends were even featured and interviewed
in a China newspaper for being an overseas fan, how lucky they are! LOL! It's just too bad we couldn't be at the
airport on that day, just a glimpse of them up close would have been heaven! Towards Friday afternoon, 2 more of our
friends arrived from Manila.
Ok, now I'll really skip to Saturday...as I mentioned earlier, a few of us headed over to Asiaworld at 8am in order to
line up for the tour goods. The rest of us would follow shortly. Rixile was part of the 1st batch, I was part of the
second. When we got to the arena, there was already a long line of people waiting for the tour goods. We weren't able
to get in with the 1st batch coz the guards were very strict about line cutting, sigh! But it was ok, we were able to
get the goods we wanted, after a lot of pushing and shoving and being mashed like sardines, but it was worth it! It was
great seeing a lot of fans all over the world...there were people from the Philippines (there were actually a lot of
Filipinos there, but we didn't know them all, some we knew vaguely from certain forums), Thais, Japanese, Indonesians,
Malaysians and more. It was so touching seeing all those people together.
As for the concert itself, we were quite disappointed with BMA Entertainment coz a lot off things could have gone
smoother. The concert started late at 8:30pm and we could sort of tell that the band was probably disappointed with a
lot of things, especially tetchan (he didn't say much, most of the mc's were done by hyde and kenchan).
Onto the concert: A minute before the live began, there was actually a moment where I couldn't breathe! I was
panicking coz I didn't have any water with me and I was coughing so hard and there were tears in my eyes! I was afraid
I wouldn't be able to watch the show properly! But when the lights dimmed and the band's silhouette could be seen
behind the curtain, my lungs took in air and I was back to normal, and from that moment on, everything was so surreal!
Until this moment, I still can't believe that that we were actually there! hyde was wearing a white, billowy shirt
reminiscent of Captain Jack Sparrow; tetchan was wearing a white shirt and red tight pants; kenchan was in an adorable
70's print shirt and white pants; yukki was wearing a grey sweatshirt and sweatpants. I love kenchan's hair! Its long
and curly and I loved it when he bobs his head up and down!
Get Out From the Shell - this song always gives me the thrills and chills...my fave live of this was from Realive Club
Circuit, its one of their best songs to start a live!
Driver's High - Totally sugoi! Everybody in the crowd pumped their arms at the right moment, the energy was so high!
I'm not sure if it was in this song that there was a bit of haitsu fanservice, it was probably in Killing Me, my gosh I
was screaming my lungs out!
Killing Me - I sooo love the intro of this song! My eyes were on yukki most of the time here!
hyde mc - most of the mc was in Chinese, so we couldn't stand a word of it. From What I've read in other reports, hyde
talked about various things like the tragic earthquake and how sorry they are, he also mentioned stuff about the food in
HK. He was totally adorable!!!
Drink it Down - This song is way way better heard live!
Daybreak's Bell - Absolutely amazing! I especially loved kenchan's guitar here!
Winter Fall - It was so great to hear one of their older songs. And the background effects were spectacular!
Eien - Not one of my fave Laruku songs, I was hoping for My Dear instead, or better yet, Hitomi no Juunin. But upon
hearing it live, it was just a dream!
Kasou - They played the piano version first, followed by the song itself, I loved it! There were falling flower petals
shown on the big screens, beautiful, it gave me the chills!
Forbidden Lover - One of my fave songs of the evening. hyde's voice was stellar all throughout the concert, but this
song stunned me, my god!
My Heart Draws a Dream - Once again, I loved kenchan's improvised intro, hyde's voice was so divine! Everybody started
singing yume no egaku yo along with the band!
Caress of Venus - Another Laruku staple song during a live...it fired averybody up, we couldn't stop jumping and waving!
Revelation - Everyone's fists pumping in unison at just the right moments! It was a sight to behold!
ken mc - Although we couldn't understand anything from kenchan's mc since it was in Chinese, we could tell that it was
about food coz pics of peking duck and fish were being flashed on the screens while he attempted to read out loud his
horrible but endearingly cute Chinese! I soooo loved kenchan that night! He even threw his paper down in frustration
and that got the crowd totally roaring with laughter!
Seventh Heaven - hyde's vibrato, gorgeous!!!
Pretty Girl - hyde didn't do a lot of hip shaking, but that's ok. LOL!
tetsu/mukimpo mc - tetchan didn't say much...actually he wasn't very "noticeable" during the concert, but I screamed for
him a lot too...he threw 2 mukimpos to the crowd, lucky lucky to those who got them!
Stay Away - this was a member change version. it was also a bit surprising coz hyde picked up the guitar so I thought
they were going to do honey or heaven's drive...the crowd cheered for every member equally, I especially loved kenchan
and yukki's turns!
Ready Steady Go - this song is awesome live! Are you fucking ready...everybody sure as hell was!
The lights dimmed a little after this so I thought there was going to be a break so I took a seat coz my legs were
hurting, but then my friend yelled that yukki was walking over to the mic so I quickly jumped to my feet! It was all in
Chinese but he didn't say much! I almost cried when he was speaking, I dunno why, lol!
Jojoushi - This is one of my fave songs ever. I can't describe it in words!
Honey - It was great live, but I don't remember much about what went on here, lol!
Link - I love the part when they start with the drums first, then the bass get added, then the guitar, followed by hyde,
just like the LAnniv version, subarashi! But then I knew the live was almost coming to an end, huhuhu!!!
tetsu mc - not exactly an mc, coz he only said a few words
hyde mc - hyde thanking everybody for coming, I think...
Anata - I thought I was gonna cry! I loved the end part, especially hyde's vocals, it was heavenly! I felt really sad
that is signaled the end of the concert! Anata hasn't been on my faves list, but upon hearing it live, it could just
make it there!
Overall, it was an absolutely amazing, amazing night! I can't say enough! We are going to see them in Japan next. I'm
sorry my report is a lil repetitive coz I'm still digesting evertything, I'm still overwhelmed by it all, lol! But

there were also rumors that inoran of luna sea was at the HK live...when the audience was being ushered in, there was a bit of a commotion at the front part and people were taking pics of somebody who just came in, we all thought it was a Hong Kong celebrity, but now we're not so sure...hehe!
