Just heard Bad Drive. Sorry to say but I expect better than that!Still voting for Brand New Beat - my favourite BoA's song :woot:

It was nice! But I have 2 BIG complaints!

1) I don't dig her hair

2) The virtual motorcycle kinda weirded me out cause it was out of place

But I liked the Michael Jackson look with the Moon Walk setting :hehe: I know BoA likes Mr. Jackson! Biter!

Student arrested for blackmailing BoA

A Korean college student was arrested in Seoul on Friday on charges of blackmailing SM Entertainment, the Korean management agency of pop singer BoA.

In April 2006, the suspect apparently hacked into BoA's mini-homepage on social networking site Cyworld, and also gained access to her private computer. He obtained photos of BoA with Danny Ahn (of g.o.d.), along with e-mails between the two singers. He then threatened to release his findings to the media unless SM Entertainment paid him 35 million won.

The suspect was finally traced and captured after he made a similar attempt to blackmail Ahn for 65 million won earlier this month.

SM Entertainment admitted that they paid the blackmailer last year. The agency also stated that BoA and Ahn became friends through work, but the suspect had threatened to expose them as if they were in a relationship.

In a recent interview with the Japanese press, she made confessions that no fan of hers or the press expected to hear: that she "no longer" enjoys working, and that she plans to take a break from her usual routine and pursue her study in America.

She told interviewers that she was feeling "exhausted", which is hardly surprising, considering her incredibly busy schedules in the past seven years, going back and forth between Korea and Japan. However, her emotional problem apparently goes far deeper than that; she confessed that she felt as if "her identity as a human has been lost".

BoA said this is not a recent development. She felt that she had "lost direction" of her life ever since releasing Best of Soul, her best-of compilation that has sold more than a million copies in Japan. Since then she never really had time to reflect on her life and her goals.

Her plan to overcome this slump is to realize her teenage dream, which is to go to a university in America and pursue the studies that she has always wanted to do. She said that she was "certain" that in four years' time she'd be attending a university in the U.S., improving her English and dance skills.

We wish the best for BoA and whatever lies ahead in her career.

BoA to release first single in 2 1/2 years

BoA has announced that she will be releasing a new Japanese single next year. This will be her first Japanese single in about two and a half years.

BoAfs single will be titled gOnly Oneh and is slated for release on February 20th. It will include the Japanese version of gOnly Oneh and gThe Shadowg, which were included in her latest Korean album, gOnly Oneh. Both songs are written and composed by BoA herself.

BoA added to cast of 'Waiting On Romance'

BoA has joined the cast of a new KBS drama, Waiting On Romance, acting alongside Daniel Choi, and on July 16th, she attended a script reading with the directors of the drama at the KBS annex in Yeo Yi Do.

For the hallyu singer, this will be her first main role in Korea. In the past, she made a special appearance in SBSfs ATHENA: Goddess of War, playing herself. She has also appeared in the Hollywood movie, Make Your Move 3D, a story about two dancers competing in an underground club in New York.

The release date for the drama has not yet been determined.
