I absolutely love that show. Seeing people shooting with ink gun pointed at Kitano at the end of the show while driving fake tank.. :beaten: :hehe:

Aahaha the super kitano of old ages! :) Here in italy the show was called
" MAI DIRE BANZAI " like " Never say BANZAI" ^_^;
I have all the eps from first and second serie.. but there are in italian version,a sorta of commented italian voice over the hylarious hard test in the game.. I have all in emule in share anyway :)

it's on TNN Spike TV every thursday night. It's the funniest and most mess up show on TV.

I love this show, i watch every week. I taped some of the episodes, I have about 20 episodes. I show this to my friends, they all laught their ass off.

*side note: When I was helping out a friend at her booth (Orbit) during the Anime Expo last year, one of the empoyees at one of her shops cosplayed as Chii from Chobits, and she looked just liked her! Wow! I was definitely 'crushin'... ;)

Anyway yeah, I remember when I was still in the Philippines mad years ago, I would watch Takeshi's Castle religiously. Hilarious! To this day, it still cracks me up! Say, does anyone know if the shows they air on Spike TV is current, or just reruns from a decade ago?

yesterday on spike tv they had a marathon of just this show! it started around 9am and ended at 12 midnight!!!

It looks like the original is as goofy as the English dubs, ne? Except instead of "eat me!" the contestants probably say "banzai!" ;)

The genuine Takeshi's Castle episodes are available on Suprnova, not the MXC ones.
Go leech yourself the original copies which are way better and more enjoyable, featuring more games (very creative and silly ones :mrgreen:) and no mumbo jumbo silly dialogues!

Funny are the differences. The contestants sticking in a mouthguard after their opening banzai, and too many guys, what happened to all the female contestants? Maybe Americans have too much common sense... :(
