altho i didn't see the movie (yet) and i don't know that the character watanabe is bald, samurais (depending on their rank), (and most of royalties) having most their head shavened, leaving the top knot, called the "chonmage".

Is there anyone who admires and obsessed to Ken Watanabe as me?
I think he is one of the very great Japanese artist who could start the career in Hollywood. I am so looking forward to his work in 2005: Batman Begins and Memoris of a Geisha.
Hi from Italy, I'm a fan ok Ken Watanabe; maybe the only fan in Italy?:)
He was famous for The Last Samurai, film of my life........
Now I'm waiting for Memoirs of a geisha, and you?
If you want, contact me, I will very happy to answer!!
Aww, how nice! A fan of Ken. I personally don't know that much about him, but I did enjoy his character in The Last Samurai. That film really is a noteworthy one. Wasn't Ken nominated for Best Supporting Actor for the Oscars for that film?
