Academy Awards/Oscars

What are your OSCAR'S Favorites this year?

Mine are:

Lord Of The Rings: The return of the King
Pirates of the Caribbean
and Last Samurai !

The only movie I'm rooting for is The Last Samurai... It has nominations for Best Supporting Actor (Watanabe Ken), Art Direction, Costume Design, and Sound... If it wins a couple, I'll be happy. :) If Ken wins, I'll be ecstatic. :D :applaud:

pirates of the caribbean... ha..ha.. because of Orlando bloom I think.

lotr - I don't watch it. although orlando is in..

Well what did everyonbe think of the Oscar awards show. I loved the introduction bu Billy Crystal. Very funny. I was very glad to see Lord of the Rings walk away with the show. I would have liked to see Johnny Depp win best actor, and of course I was cheering on Ken for Best supporting actor. Oh well I enjoeyd it.

well I was hoping that Ken Watanbe will get the Oscar for tha supporting role but Tim Robbins got it in the end. Anyway the Oscars were great as usual

Yeah.

Who gives about Toto anyway?!

LOTR won 11/11 awards - every category it was in it won. It is tied with Titanic and Ben Hur for the most awards for a movie.

Yawn. Aside from Billy Crystal and Charlize winning it wasn't very exciting...

Yeah, without him..oscar was just too sour!

That just amazes me that L.O.T.R. won all 11 it was nomininated for. On the same token I think it was 100 times better than Titanic which also won 11. I hate Leonardo.

anyone know where i can download this Oscar award show?
im so happy that charlize theron won!!!!!!!!!!
:D
she's so hot!!

YES! THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING HAS TIED TITANIC AND BEN HUR WITH THE MOST OSCAR WINS (11) OF ANY MOVIE. AND THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST MAKES OVER $100 MILLION IN ITS FIRST FIVE DAYS. What a great week for movies, eh?
