I think your thoughts are right (I'm speaking up 'cause I'm a woman) about posting her picture without her permission. It's called invasion of privacy.

Anyway, I think what you've developed fans91-san is more like a teenage crush. About you and her being connected..perhaps she's the one that give you more attention and care BUT beware it is a job of a teacher to care for her student so he/she can get the best education. Just don't think the otherwise. I'm not trying to discourage you though, I'm just trying to say my thought about this thing. However be very careful with this student-teacher thing in real life because we're not living in the J-dorama wonderland.

Love is unfair, well actually love can be anything But in my opinion the most important rule for someone to chase love is Courage...to be hurt, disappointed, to sacrifice, to accept whatever happen with you...

Yare2x yare love ka? Love is complex....Unfair sometimes yes I suppose...but if u already fall in love...Man that's da time u gonna pay for the price..Da price to be patience...Da price to get hurt...Da price to get happiness...Nothing certain in love...We all watch Jdrama here...so u know what u'll face in love ne

It looks like lovelessemotion has covered everything I would say....what can I say? Great minds think alike!

If u really like her then just make the effort and make her laugh (works for me since i don't think i'm much of a looker, look at my pic on the pic post form long ago if u want proof)

Good Luck!

This is very interesting, and quite amusing. There was a k-drama with a similar situation... it was called Romance. A high school student falls in love with his teacher... it was a love that wasn't meant to be... (I haven't watched it, but here are some pics) http://www.imbc.com/tv/drama/romance/html/photo01.html

Anyways, a lot of it depends on the personality of the tutor. Is she nice, mean, arrogant, reserved, shy, outgoing, etc?. It's kinda funny that you flat out asked her to tutor at your or her place, out of the blue (something that I would do, but not recommend to others). My advice is to ask questions about her when the situation arises. I'm sure you want to know more about her character, so questions like what music she likes, what she does in her free time... pretty soon she'll get the idea that you're interested in her, and then it's her turn to do whatever.

Keep us posted, but I don't think you should give up because you fear expulsion (yeah.. easy for me to say, right? ;) )

umm..this is a kinda hard situation...let me see....
im a girl..and im around 20...if i were that tutor...and someone a lot younger than me has a crush on me....what will i do?...
if i know from his act that he has feeling for me...im sure i will put respect for his feeling...
..i think u should move slowly...untill u think u get the sign from her...if it positive sign u may move forward...but if it negative i guess for my opinion u better cut it off ....before the whole situation between u and ur tutor becoming awkward...

but then again it's only my opinion....
anyway ganbatte ne...

im not charming or funny...well i try talking to her my mind go blanks so you know...
1 Feb 2004, 17:36 #35
Approach ka? ;) First talk to her being urself ask her out and u'll know..Is it just emotion, like or love...after that u can regroup and find more way but u have to assure first u like her..if yes why u like her? Sabishi ka? Ai ka? Suki ka?

u know with that kinda behavior it doesnt sound so appealing.. u will never get attracted by girls/women acting like that~ feeling lowly of yourself.. what these guys are trying to say just be yourself.. literally.. if u really like this person, at least feel confident you know.

i kinda agree with v6 for some reason about moving slowly since ure not sure of how she feels when it comes to that teacher/student relationship stage.. unless she gives u a sign.. then prepare for some serious outcomes, what u do with your decision is what you get/deserve.. im not being rude here, but since we all dont know what this woman thinks of u but just a student, might as well pray to make her notice u or something.

make sure shes single

I have a solution to your problem Fans91.............................................

Ask her if she wants some coffee or something,......................

and then you slip her the "date rape" pill!!!!

Viola! Problem solved! :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

J/K!
1 Feb 2004, 19:38 #38
LOL! I don't think "date rape" was exactly what was on Fans91's mind.

Did I see you say that she was 27?! Firstly, you have to find out whether she's already going out with someone or not. Sorry to bust your bubble, but being 27, she's prob not looking for a schoolboy fling, so you have to show her that you can be mature about things. Just talk to her, about current affairs, ask her what she thinks about George Bush (OK, maybe not Bush) but something that shows her that you're aware of the more adult things in the society that you live in. You want to make her feel as if you're more like a friend, rather than a student.

It's possible. I'm 22 and my wife is 34 (Japanese as I assume Fans91 "Love interest" is).

Always a chance. May be slim, but hey, it still exists.

Yes. Be mature and show her that. But also it's important to be yourself. You don't want to put up any "fronts" if you're really "in love" like you stated in your first post, Fans91.
