I hate his hair in this series. I like it better in engine..

Things I wonder about Pride:
1. What's up with all the Queen songs?
2. Dude, what's up with "maybe".. i know it's his catchphrase.. but sometimes.. it's not appropriate..
3. is it just me or is this show testosterone-driven?
4. why does makoto cry a lot?
5. dude.. anybody agree that aside from kimutaku, makoto is just THE funniest?

interesting comments...i think his hair is better in engine as well..but this drama he doesn't play the most loveable guy from the get go...i like that....

homeboy gets his mack on even on bad takes....what a hard life.....and with one of japan's already risen stars..........good looking and talented.

Really? ep 9 or 10....gahh I'm like... 5 away... oh well. Hooray for winterbreak!

and to kinda answer some questions or just comment

1. I don't know what's up with all the Queen, but I find it really amusing. Espcially the fact that they play "fat-bottomed girls" everytime the guys do something girl related at the sports bar. That could be interppreted as insulting.
2. I don't understand the "maybe" thing either
3. It's VERY testosterone driven, i'm surprised I don't see more beer cans being smashed on foreheads and like chest bumping.
4. Maybe he's just very sensitive... but yeah he cries a ton. But so do a lot of characters- like Densha Otoko, omg he cried all the time. Maybe they're cousins? They rock the same hair.
5. I do! He ma cry a ton, but he cracks me up al lthe same "ARRRG, I"m a Pirate!!" that was the BEST.

ehhh.. i was wrong.. i hated makoto.. hehehehe.. i LOVED tomo-chan.. his sense of humor is just retarded...

i swear.. this show reeks of testosterone..

... and i'm loving every moment of it.. *giggles*

Hmm i don't remember seeing Tomo do anything really funny yet... but I'm guessing it will come.

this show was boost. i really liked it...you actually saw some serious character development in the protagonist...very little fluff...

he had that attitude....just brush that dirt off ya shoulders. it's interesting to see how and why his character turned out the way he did.

it was scary in the ep where he man-slapped his teammate.. dude.. that was so not cool.. imagine being man-slapped in front of your friends..

yes, if I look at the light bulb, I probably think about Pride and that something special were written on it! :nut:

I don't know whether you guys experience it, but I find myself saying "Not maybe, must be" whenever someone says something along the lines of "maybe".

And I NEVER EVER REPLY just a yes or no to questions anymore! I'll say "maybe" and give them this smug takuya kimura smirk hahaha

so a question about PRIDE

the part after Halu discovered the cute on Aki's eyelid and Aki was talking to Chika about the attraction of a guy......Aki was describing a guy showing all of his weak points and she rather find it cute and pitiful....
at first, I thought she was referring to her boyfriend how just turn all violent/soft to her after he hurt her...but then, when I think about it...I thought Aki was referring to Halu? but Chika said that those traits isn't love?

kinda confused :banghead: can anyone please interpret that scene for me :bow:

from my understanding.. she was describing halu.. and yeah.. chika is saying that it wasn't love that she was feeling for halu.. it was more like pity.. because for chika.. stability is important.. and halu can't provide that for aki..

that's my understanding.. unless our in-house Kimutaku expert Triky-boo has another version..

yeah, that may be it.....that why she was relunctant to chose Halu cuz she didn't trust him :) Anzai's wife and even Tomoko and Yamato said that. She want security and Halu isn't given it to her......but definitely that's not the reason why she married that Nasu guy.....!
