You're right, you've gotta go back 'home' one of these days. Hell I'm not even uchinanchu and i feel quite at home in okinawa.
Yeah, I noticed a lot of Okinawans who live till they're ancient! I wouldn't mind living that long just as long as I'm still 'sane'! :hehe: But on another note, yeah, I wanna go to Okinawa! My girlfriend hasn't even been there before. So I guess it would be pretty cool going there with her as the first time for the both of us.

There are a lot of great sashimi-ya there, and being right by the sea (i'm talking about less than 100 ft), the fish is REALLY fresh.
Cool! Gotta eat sashimi and sushi when I get there! *Mmmm. Yum yum*

Just as well, because the Okinawan diet consists of a LOT of pork (debichi, rafute, Nakami soup (pig inside) etc) Everything from head to tail is used, and the present-day Okinawan diet begins and ends with pork, which explains the abundance of pork in the land of the ryukyus.
I've become accustomed to living in the city. I wouldn't mind visitng such a place, but I don't think that I could live there, more or less stay for a while. :nut:
Pork is ok, not too fond of it though. But I love chicken! Teehehehehe :hehe:
Oh, and I know Okinawans make that Oxtail soup. ...............Bleeh. Mazui!!!! :beaten:
But I like Andagi!!! I don't even know how to make it. I just "tanomu" to my Grandma and eat whatever she makes. :hehe: Have you tried Andagi Niko? (dumb question, but whatevers!)
