memula aku cipta thread ni tapi aku nengok takde pun speaking bahasa ibunda aku. akudah pening kpala padahal terang2 tulih all mlaysian walaupun tersalah tulih come hehehehe

you have to understand,currently the malay language in malaysia has been broken by the likes of "local malay comics" like "ujang" and "gila-gila".
the "broken malay" was further emphasized by a local sitcom[i hate to admit it,but i have to cuz it's widely known as one....] called "scenario".

hence,
apa = aper
kenapa = napa
perempuan = pompuan
kau orang = korang
etc.

and don't let me start on the grammer.....it uses english words in it too.

in a few years time,this will be a big issue in malaysia,just like how broken english is in singapore.

IMO,this "broken" version of malay really makes the language ugly/horrible/whatever-u-call-it. i prefer the standard malay.....even though i got a C6 grade in SPM[0-levels]!!!

Looks like everybody were not really comfortable with the using of broken Malay. I don't have any problem writing in standard Malay if that what everyone prefer. :mrgreen:

P.S. This could get worse if some of us were using other various dialects of the Malay language. In case if some of you didn't know, we Malay also have different dialects like others ;)
