This just happened like two minutes ago:

Our union rep approached me today saying that one of his students, who happens to be in my first period class, said that I told my class they could skip today if they hadn't brought in their permission form. Now, today is Take Your Kid to Work day, where all grade 9 students shadow a parent in the workplace. They had to bring in a pink form to excuse them from class. I DID NOT say this, and when I asked the union rep who the kid was, he said he couldnft remember. Now, I really think this matter should be taken up, because this kid is manipulating what I said, and I can get in A LOT of trouble if a VP believes the kid over me (which will most likely happen). So after the meeting, I reflected on this and went back to the union rep, but he said he didn't have time, that he really didn't know who had said it in his class, and that kids manipulate things all the time. And he's saying all this as he runs towards his car. Some support, eh?

I don't understand why he brought this up to me if he wasn't willing to help me out. I mean, he IS our union rep, after all.

And of course, during our initial conversation, he also mentioned that another teacher complained that I asked, through written form, if I could borrow two of his kids to help me set up for the Haunted Darkroom. The union rep implied that I'm being "watched" and that I really need to cross all Ts and dot all Is.

What a way to end the day, eh?

That sucks, Wyn-chan. You haven't been wearing that jumper with the target on the back again, have you?

So desu ne!!! By all means, Wyn-chan document everything from here on out!!![/list:u] The example you cite though, seems if the union rep can't remember, that's hearsay, pretty hard to convict on hearsay. Btw, want to me to check and see if L.A. Unified School District is hireing? [/list:u]

Yea, I think I will. But what's to say that they'll believe what I've written if they don't believe what I'm saying verbally? SO frustrating.

Ya know, a teacher I do my supervision with asked me why I don't just leave the school, since he agrees that i'm being singled out. I told him that I love the actual student body. I mean, I love being in the class room and I love being a teacher. It's all the politics and heirarchy that I DO NOT like. I'm just afraid one day I'll give up and really leave. :pout:

Ya know, musa, you're suggestion almost sounds like a diluted japanese-style proposal. ;) :muack:

We have a mute button on our phones, one of my co-workers was talking to a customer and he said, "This guy is a f**king idiot" but he FORGOT to hit his mute button before he said it. A little while later he had to have a "discussion" with his manager.

this dumbass idiot is filing a law suit in small claims court against us for one lamp that was damaged and only cost him $19.00, he wants to sue us for lost wages or whatever, bragging that he gets paid $100/hr... ahhhhahah
we are patiently waiting for the papers to be served. cant wait to go to court to see him get humiliated for $19.00

We have a staff meeting tomorrow and I'm starting to feel a lil' anxious. I have the feeling my drama from a few days ago will be brought into the forefront... indirectly, of course.

I feel for you, Wyn-chan.

Mrs Anime Dad is getting a new student this week, from another school. Who has already been suspended from school 3 times. He's in Kindergarten.

OMG! Why are they suspending a kinder????? What has he/she done? The system is seriously wrong when, instead of helping the student, they suspend him/her. :shakehead:
