The Queen's in B-mode yet again.

This must be a world and medical record for the longest menopausal phase in history. :shakehead: :bleh:

For the most part I do, but if she gets in my face, she'll wish she didn't... And there have been several occasions where it has happened.

But she's too dumb to learn.

so we went back to the old office to have a good-bye lunch w/ the coworker whose leaving tomorrow and so it was a 3 hour lunch. Made up an hour today, which leaves me w/ 2 hours to make up. I WAS going to go to work early tomorrow, but guess what? they're doing construction on the building next to ours and the power to our side of the street will be off all night, til 6:30am.. so much for me going in early to make up time.. :grumble:

You have to make up the hours for having a good-bye party?! Your employers are lame. Or were they not part of it?

it was an optional company function... just like the xmas party they had, they had to make up hours for leaving early...
THAT was lame.. our whole office left at 2:30, even if they didn't go to the function.

aside from the short commute, im not thrilled to go to work in the morning... at this point, the 45 minute commute is much more welcome.

I don't know anything about the commute (I live seven minutes away from the school) but I do know how you feel about the hours. We don't get paid hourly either but there's an unspoken rule that if you take off hours, you make them up. I think it's dumb. For example, I'm here at work doing absolutely nothing. But if I were to go to Timmie's (coffee shop) to mark my papers, I'd have to make up the hours. Ridiculous.

That is ridiculous. Sometimes I also find myself more productive when I'm off site. It makes me breathe and center all my energy back.

Exactly. Don't get me wrong, I LUFF my job. But spending 10+ hours with sticky teenages can tend to try on one's nerves. Especially when they're suddenly all in heat. Fangirls x 1000 :bleh:

Everybody needs a breather once in a while. BUt there are some from management that would rather see you there than not there. It's like at least they know you're not farting around out of work. I wonder if you can leave a mannequin in your likeness lying around (errr.. sitting) and observe if they can see the difference. :hehe:
