to those lucky few, that actually have a nice boss, 100% of the time, is that even possible?

I think maybe everyone has one at one time or another: I did two jobs ago, but that boss moved back to Tennessee... :puppydog:

Yup, the lame-o bosses seem to be the norm. :bleh:

The company I work for has 2 owners: 1 is great, the other is usually painful. :grumble:

The Queen seems to have gotten over her "phase"... Of course, she's preoccupied with a bunch of people from China that we're selling stuff to...

Working with a tier1 rep today, just before he transferred the customer, he asked me, "Mark, what is your name again?" I was REALLY tempted to say something like Sebastian or Heathcliffe, but I restrained myself.

No, not until the 28th. That's my last day. I just took tomorrow off for "marking", but I'm really going out to watch "We Will Rock You".

Just found out we are finally getting our 24mb/s connection at work :victory: :woot: :dancing:

But it appears they are not as stupid as I thought: from the email we got about it -

We ask that all staff limit their usage to work related issues.
As streaming radio and video downloads will make it difficult ... to function in a timely manner

I'll be trying the new connection out as soon as it's up, anyway

LOL.

I suppose they can run some kinda monitoring software to keep tabs on you guys, ne?

They usually do. It's nice to know they only bother about the bandwidth and not about people not working and watching streaming videos instead. :hehe:

So they say...

"Mr. A-Dad, could you please refrain from downloading entire Taiga dramas during work hours, please?" :beaten: :hehe:
22 Jun 2007, 13:07 #4219
LOL, what I didn't post is that we have 2 connections, and that was only while all traffic was directed through one while the other was being upgraded. Then they are upgrading the other, at which time it will be open season, I guess :P

In Ontario all schools go straight until the end of June, including Middle and elementary schools. Only Universities end early, and that's in April. :beaten:

Day off today! :woot:
