And that towel thing worked. Thanks, beem. ^_^ The a/c guys also came in a few minutes ago and closed the vent where the hot air was coming down from, so it's a little cooler. Not much, but I don't feel as crappy as I did earlier.

Why didn't they just fix the A/C? :hehe: Some heat isn't so bad once you've been in 130+ temperatures......in outdoor shade.

So far, just lots of rumors, but I've always had a policy of ignoring all rumors except the ones I've started :mrgreen: Besides, I've been thru enough layoffs to know that it's pointless to worry about thing you don't have any control over. That would be good, except these CEOs usually end up making their money through bonuses or other things. The president of my university made nearly $3 million last year and that wasn't his salary.

Well, for the time being, we're all still employed. However, the guy from management in San Francisco that flew down here in August and said our office was on the chopping block got laid off. The irony of that was not lost on any of us.
