Talk About Work Thread

Wow... it's been awhile since I've been to this site, s'only appropriate that the first thing I do back is b*tch about work... :hehe:

hehe, just got promoted a couple months back and it's been hell learning the ropes all over again. What's worse, I have to get to know people and go through this whole work politics thing again as well... never cared so much about that in the past, it's a surprise I ever moved up. In any event, all in all it was a good move and days go by faster since I work more even though I can pretty much set my own hours. Anyway, it's a nice day-before-Thanksgiving today here in the Los Angeles suburbs... hope everyone's doing alright! And of course, Happy Thanksgiving!! :mrgreen:

They even sell those big 'ol honkin Turkey legs at the Pomona fair here in the Los Angeles area... you walk around with a piece of meat bigger than your head... try doing that while on a roller coaster, I dare ya!! :nut:

i had a meeting with my old boss today. he said he wants me back but the job he was offering is different to the one i had when i left and it doesn't doesn't pay what i'm on now.

With cajun spices injected into it. Heck yeah! Its so good :puppydog:. Its not all dry and chalky either :bleh:. We had one last year. It was gone within a day and a half :hehe:.




Here's my complaint about work: I've learned that when it comes to clothing stores people are messy @$$holes! Why do they just throw crap all over the place? It won't take <b>that</b> much effort to just put things back where you get them from. I can understand if its in the wrong place but not far from where it should be. But putting women's coats and crap on the men's side and vice versa, in the childrens section, in the clearence area when you know full well that its regular price, or putting coats with the freaking purses and wallets. WTF?! Messy sons-a-b****** :cursing:!

That sucks.
They either don't have any respect for the employees or they are just idiots. Their house must look like a mess... It's not that tough to put the stuff where you got it. :shakehead: I bet after they tried everything in the store and made a mess, they didn't buy anything. :beatyou:

They deserve to get smack, unless they are Hell's Angels or Bandidos. They can do whatever they want. :sweat:
