Thanks! :victory: Will first check out the 175 dollar burger restaurant from the food thread and then have no money left for Japanese food :beaten:
No bullshiet...if you go to New York in Dec...go eat at this Japanese yakitora-ya called Yakitori Taisho...it's a very Japanese experience...I have fond memories of that place.
It's not my fault you wanted to try having a bath in white wine.
it's your fault for wearing a white bikini and not wanting it stained with red wine. if you had just taken it off before we got into the bath like i suggested, good times would have been had by all, instead of just you.

Hai hai :victory: ! Just googled Yakitori Taisho and  it is really close to where my best friend (from highschool) used to live, he moved since then but still at least I know the area and will be able to find the place :victory: .
I am already hungry  (it's 11.40am) :drooling:

Where's the satisfaction in that?

It's very good and it has a really authetic Japanese feel to it...get there early...you'll probably see lots of Japanese customers eating there too....although no Cosplay. ;)

Royal/T is:
a) Queen Elizabeth and her funky bunch.
b) brilliant wordplay.
c) a contemporary art exhibition space/ultra gift shop/tea room/cafe.
If you answered c, youfre either a good guesser or youfve heard of the new multifunctional space in Culver City. Though its gallery and retail components have been open for a bit, the long-awaited Royal/T Cafe is serving as of today.
Inspired by Tokyofs trendy maid cafes, Royal/T offers eats like baked eggs with salmon, asparagus, and creme fraiche for breakfast and curry rice with chicken for lunch. In the afternoon, waitresses in French maid costumes present a full tea service with Japanese flair. After kappa maki and spicy tuna finger sandwiches, wander the exhibition as you digest.
Worried about sensory overload?
Yes, Royal/T certainly is that, too.
Royal/T Cafe, 8910 Washington Boulevard, between Robertson and National Boulevards, Culver City (310-559-6300 or royal-t.org).
