In the States, this is taking time to catch on.

But at science-fiction conventions, the costumes come out. Maybe they aren't as sexy and imaginative (or funny!) as those in Japan Cosplay.

The hobby of historical reenactment is popular in the States. It's a form of Cosplay, I am told. Is this practiced much in Japan?
