^Wow, I didn't even notice. I was too confused about the proportions of his head. His ACTUAL head, that is.

I'll be hitting a science fiction convention this weekend and I'll try to get you all some juicy pics.

Uh huh.

But yeah, he's got a pseudo-shrunken head. His ACTUAL head, that is. :hehe:

It is.

Good thing it's on the previous page so I don't have to see the pic again. :bleh:

Two traveling monks reached a river where they met a young woman. Wary of the current, she asked if they could carry her across. One of the monks hesitated, but the other quickly picked her up onto his shoulders, transported her across the water, and put her down on the other bank. She thanked him and departed.

As the monks continued on their way, the one was brooding and preoccupied. Unable to hold his silence, he spoke out. "Brother, our spiritual training teaches us to avoid any contact with women, but you picked that one up on your shoulders and carried her!"

"Brother," the second monk replied, "I set her down on the other side, while you are still carrying her."

That is teh awesomeness. Big points for imagination. To show up at one of these Cosplay conventions in relatively "normal" clothes that don't hamper your movement is one thing, but to carry around (for instance) plastic sheeting to disguise yourself as a vending machine - dedication!

I am considering a cosplay outfit for myself. One of my favorite characters - Mifune Toshiro as Kikuchiyo! :woot:

Exactly, but I was thinking of his outfit before he found all the armor. It would require less nudity out of me. :naughty:

But thanks for that picture, I was looking for a color picture of the brocade obi he was wearing. Just the colors that I imagined. :dancing:

Yeah, thanks, that's the ticket. I could probably have my friend make the yukata/kosode. It's probably blue patterned yafusuma pattern, probably painted. I could make a dunny no-dachi, since at the conventions, they don't let you draw anyway. His belt kit includes a tanto, a small canteen and some kind of pouch. Oh, and two pair of waraji as well.

A cool project I think. I'll keep you posted.
